As I arrived early in the day, my room wasn't ready, but the cleaning staff helped me up the stairs with my suitcase, and allowed me to leave my luggage in my room until later.
The room was comfortable and well equipped.

The staff were lovely and helpful and went out of their way to explain things to us in English. Our twin room was very cosy and quiet on the top floor of the building behind. We were able to store our bicycles safely here. The food at Kakis is just wonderful with so many delicious choices for dinner and breakfast, which was excellent. The adjoining bakery is very tempting! Really enjoyed our stay here.

Sigulda castle from outside is enough.
Sigulda castle from outside is enough. Spent much more time in Turraida castle with many houses from the region (price the same and much more to see).
In weekends during summer try bobsleigh. Amazing experience!

Nice castle area in Sigulda.
Nice castle area in Sigulda. There is also cable car if you are into such activity. Bridge with national flags of Latvia is a perfect place for photos. The town itself rather quiet and without Old Town but still nice for a walk. Close to national park. There are also Turaida castle remains nearby but in my opinion there is no medieval vibe there.

Super place for a family vacation! Lots of outdoor activities suitable for kids of various ages. Excellent service and instructor at Aerodium, definitely a strong recommendation as for Tarzans to which this was our fifth visit and it never fails! :-) All in all a lovely little city!
We stayed in hotel for 2 nights, rooms very comfortable and clean.Meals tasty and good variety of salads/cooked meats. Ladies serving meals were very friendly and hospitable.Location is excellent, short distance to the train/bus station. Must mention Adolf, the resident cat !,very friendly and loves being with guests.Sigulda very clean, with plenty of interesting/historical sights.
It is an amazing place with literarely everything what you can imagine starting from fully equipped kitchen and finishing with honey waiting for you. Villa Vilma's team is exceptionally friendly taking care of every little thing. Complementary sweets upon our arrival were super nice to have after a long drive. It is a must place to stay if you are in Sigulda.
Remote and quite location. Adequately furnished kitchen, convenient bathroom with Sauna (however we did not use it), two separate bedrooms, crib for a baby. Space for children outside. Self-check in without any hustle. All in all - our family of 5 (parents plus 3 kids, one of whom is 10 months baby) found the apartment convenient and according to our needs.
My ongoing stay at this hotel in Sigulda has been truly excellent! The location is perfect, the host is kind and respectful, the rooms are spotless, and the beautiful yard adds a peaceful atmosphere. There is plentiful parking, and the hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and banks. Highly recommended for a remarkable experience in Sigulda!
Very nice host, speaks both perfect English and Russian, very welcoming. The restaurant is amazing. Location is very convenient, close to the highway but yet quiet. All the castles are ±10 min drive from there. Traditional homes are fantastic and stylish. Liked it.
Hotel Sigulda was perfect for our stay. We got the most budget level basic room and it was comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant is very good. Staff was very helpful & friendly. Location couldn’t be better.
Very friendly staff, speaks Russian, English, and Latvian. Gives information about visiting objects in Sigulda also. A lot of space in the apartment. Warm apartment with a lot of sun. Free parking, free Wi-fi.
Aparjods is not a usual hotel. It is a beautiful, spacious complex of classical Latvian houses, well cared for, nicely decorated. There is a very good restaurant on the premises where breakfast is served.
The place was nice and cosy. The hotel is near to the train station and all shops and restaurants are close to it. Easy check in and check out. Clean rooms and over all well maintained.
An oasis in the heart of Sigulda! You felt like you were away in the countryside yet could easily get to the market to grab last minute items or to go hiking or to the castle etc.
