The riad is in a rural area next to the rose valley. The hosts: Isabelle and Mohamad are the most wonderful hosts. As a lone female traveller, I felt completely safe and very well looked after. They are kind, helpful, warm and friendly. They work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The location: after the busyness of the Rose festival in town, it was so lovely to come back to the tranquility of this place. I enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the terrace overlooking the red sandy hills and river of the valley. Watching the sunset every day was one of my favourite moments. The room: beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, quiet. The food: delicious! I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Isabelle and Mohamad.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Kalaat MGouna, Bab El Atlas is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

The host is super attentive, friendly and supportive. So is the whole staff. Rooms as well as common areas - well planned and charming Pool - good one (though at our stay end of Aril/beg May water was really chilly!) Food was great (breakfast as well as dinner). You can start basic treks to the valley directly from the hotel.
