The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was okay considering we were in Ramadan. Would have liked a choice of egg (fried, scrambled...). The Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful, and we had good interactin with Ali and his father. The food in the restaurant was tasty, especially the Harira soup that the owner made for us. There is a very friendly black and white cat that seems to co-own the restaurant!!

Perfect for one night when on the road; "Chalet" = small house with two bedrooms and small integrated kitchen, suitable for solo travellers, friends or families. A swimming pool is also available. I was very well received by all staff, who made efforts to make my stay as good as possible. The restaurant that is part of the complex is also very nice and the food was clearly above expectations.

The hotel looks pretty old.the host is super nice and tries his best to make you feel comfortable. Unfortunately when we arrive it was pretty cold for that period of time, luckily in the room there was ac to heat the room but in the breakfast area it was pretty cold (probably it is difficult to heat it up because it is huge room). Compering to other accomodations in the country we find it a bit expensive for what you get.

This is a lovely property with cosy restaurant. Saeed managed the whole place exceptionally well and made us feel very welcome. Midelt is a good stopping off point on the way south - but do ask about the disused mines outside town!

This place was amazing! Super clean rooms, very kind staff. We got there at midnight, they greeted us well and even made sure we got breakfast earlier so we could leave on time. Food was amazing, cafe was clean and coffee was superb.

The owner built the house himself. He was very welcoming, super interesting to talk to as is both well read and well travelled. You stay in a traditional Berber home with the family with meals served on site. Currently they are busy constructing a large restaurant next to the house which has stunning views! An ideal wedding reception venue!
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse.
We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.

This is our second trip to Midelt which is a small country...
This is our second trip to Midelt which is a small country town in the High Atlas. Although it was mid-April the weather was cold and the surrounding mountains were covered in snow. This is a town you pass through on the way to other places, though it is worthwhile taking a stroll through the centre. We were disappointed to discover that Kasbah Myriam, an excellent carpet shop, had closed down to the death of the owner. A real shame.
This is truly the best stop for travellers! We arrived when it was dark and Mohammed immediately found us, greeted us warmly and showed us the place. It is a shared flat, so there could have been other people staying there but we had the place to ourselves. Beds are comfortable, shower and bathroom is clean. Mohammed's shop is also very handy and right next to the flat, he has great fresh fruits, veggies and meat. Midelt also has a beautiful monastery called Notre Dame d'Atlas that we were able to visit after staying here.
Stayed at Kasbah Asmaa for 1 night as it is a good midway point between Merzouga and Fes. Considering the other Riads and Kasbah we had stayed at, we were pleasantly surprised by this property. Clean room and comfortable beds with TV. Breakfast was very well assorted and had European options such as croissants, yoghurts and boiled eggs. The pool was refreshing and relaxing. The staff was also very helpfull and was able to accommodate us without hesitation with our special request.
The place was beautifuly decorated and had a vibe to make you feel like home. When we arrived the fire in fireplace kept us warm and host Simo was waiting for us with delitious dinner cooked by his mother. We had a heater in the room and enough blankets to have a good sleep. He helped us with many advice for our trip and was very friendly.
I would reccomend everyone to stay at Atlas room in Midelt!
Midelt is a surprise! We chose it as a stop on the way to Fes, without particular expectations. However, the people of the hotel and of the city made it more enjoyable than expected. The hotel is a traditional guesthouse, attention to details and breakfast is AMAZING. The staff is very kind and we even found our car washed from the desert sand when we woke up. More than fair value for money.
The apartment is really wonderful, modern and clean. It was really nice to find such a comfortable space after sleeping in a tent in the dessert for a few nights. Even the laundry machine was a new model and really large. Midelt is the perfect stop for a journey between Merzouga and Fez. Our host met us when we arrived and was very kind. There is street parking in front.
Very nice experience, I want to thank the manager in Midelt for his kindness and generosity everything was perfect at our first night in Midelt, the traditional cuisine, the place was clean and comfy, the service....
The second night in Merzouga desert was awesome too, the bivouac is clean the people was kind the camel ride also wow just wow.
Definitely recommended
The owner was very nice and helpful. We were able to park the car securely on the premises. The room was spacious. The hotel is not decorated in a traditional moroccan way but in some ways reminded me strongly of a french countryhouse, which was a welcome change. It had a very calming atmosphere. We were happy to be served moroccan beer at dinner :)
it was actually like a one bedroom apartment. You could see that someone really took a lot of time to make sure everything was very nice and presentation difficult to fine. Had it not been for a guy that just happened to hold up a sign for the hotel in front of a market, as a creep in my car, , I never would’ve found it
The beds were very comfortable with lots of warm bedding. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming . They took us up to the terrace to show off the wonderful 360 degree view. The location was great . Very quiet for sleeping . The room had a nice balcony.
We were very welcomed to the hotel. With a safe car parking in front of the hotel. The room was very comfortable very spacious. Plenty blankets for the cold night. Great shower. We had a nice breakfast in the restaurant. Very clean .
Most relax guest home, I visited in marocco. Simon and Menel take really care of us. Makes that I felt home quickly here. The house is also decorated in a cool way. Highly recommend if you want place to relax. Good breakfast, with.
The staff and other guests really made this place a special stop. The hotel is pretty basic looking but it had all we needed for a stop between ages and Merzouga desert. They even did some laundry for us.
Clean rooms, good location for a stop off. Staff very helpful. I has my motorbike parked outside in view of the security cameras, but the Hotel thought it would be better in their garage. Great breakfast
The beds were extra comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Excellent choice for a one night stop over in Midelt. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
