Very friendly staff, food and service was excellent. Location is a bit further than we expected, but it wasn't a problem for us.
The hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of the desert, in the heart of the palm grove of Zagora. Come and enjoy an exceptional setting in the shade of palm trees

As a group of 7 people we had the place to ourselves. Lots of parking out the front of the hotel. Our room was huge, bathroom was a good size and even a balcony overlooking the desert.
We asked about dinner and we're offered a tagine for all of us. It was fantastic, lots of flavour and none of us were disappointed.
The next morning we had a phenomenal breakfast, the food just kept coming and it was all really good.

It was a nice re-encounter. We were here for the first time some 30 years ago. The hotel has retained its character and the staff is just as friendly as we remember it. What a pleasant place!
Set in the palm grove of Zagora, the Riad is next to the sand dunes. Riad Tagmadarte Ferme d'Hôte offers double rooms and bungalows.

Excellent value for money. All the extras worked in our room. Aircon, fridge, TV and we had hot water on demand.. A lot of attention had been paid to the ceiling on building. Our patio was screened by vegetation from our neighbours giving us semi private outside space. The area was tranquil. Loads of birdlife. Next to some sand dunes. Food was good and reasonably priced. No one was in your face trying to add extra value to your stay. Best of all secure parking for the motorbike

No decent size shops not even a proper supermarket eg Carrefour. Can be difficult if not speak French or Arabic . Lots of beggars and sad sights like a man scavenging in bins. Dry and hot and dusty. No local bus services . Pedestrian crossings are ignored. Feels like the back of beyond lots of rubbish

Zagora is the gate to the Sahara desert.
Zagora is the gate to the Sahara desert. The village itself has a lot of nice bars, restaurants and hotels, and is the starting point for guided tours in the desert, all or not on a dromedary, all or not with an overnight stay in tent camps, for 1 or more days. Next to that, Zagora has twice a week a very big local market (Wednesday and Sunday) that is a must to experience! Further down the N9 you can find the small town Tamegroute, famous for its artisanal green pottery. Also a must to stop there and see the 7 families at work outside.
Oasis Tilogui is a medium seized walled off place so when you enter it feels a bit like a vacation village but the facilities are great and the cabins spacious and comfortable. You have your own roof terrace overlooking the desert and the staff is friendly and attentive. You are around 10 km from Zagora; the kitchen is great and offers standard Moroccan dishes. Breakfast was healthy with fresh fruit and yoghurt, a welcome change from the good but heavy standard breakfasts typically served in the riads..
Wonderfull hotel :)
Really recommend the trip to the dessert.
(Last time with other agency it was just about to take money from tourist).
Mohammad from Dar Tiziri was great guide.
No pressure, he was listening what we want to see and do.. Not offering any friends stuff :) He was ready to answer all questions even in topics I was afraid to ask.. about Moroco, people, tribes, history, actual politics in the world, economy..from other than EU side of view ...thanks again :)
We had a perfect stay. Beautiful, clean and big room with a nice balcony, The whole hotel was lovely decorated with beautiful details and traditional design.
The service was outstanding! The whole staff was really friendly, welcoming and made our stay unforgettable.
Great food, everything with a good value for money.
Best WiFi we had in Morocco which was perfect for working.
100% recommended
Happy to come back one day
Good spacious hotel. The Garden and pool area were fantastic and well maintained. Beautiful peacock walking amongst the grounds. Comfortable room and beds. Food in the restaurant was very nice. The staff were very friendly and arranged an overnight visit to Erg Chegaga which far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this tour if you’re planning to visit the dunes. All in all a great stay, many thanks
There are rare times when you are welcomed to your hotel/riad/dar/wherever you’re staying and it feels like you’re being welcomed home. This is one of those cases.
Asaad and Omar are kind, warm, and incredibly welcoming in an authentic way. And they are willing to accommodate whatever you need. It was great to get to stay here and I would recommend it to anyone.
Mohammed and his team made a great job - they are all very friendly and hospitable.
The Hotel is a oasis close the desert for relaxation and wellbeing.
The villa has enough space and an own garten and pool.
The Hotel is run very professional - there are no waiting times - everything worked perfectly!
Many thanks to Mohammed, Hussein and team!
I was welcomed with open arms, the hospitality and friendliness of Brahim and Zahra were beyond my expectations. I was treated like a member of the family, served amazing fresh bread for breakfast and they shared their food when breaking the fast after dark. Lovely quiet location in the residential area of Zagora, close to all your needs.
To me this hotel was not a hotel, it was like coming back home to see a long lost family!!! The owner Samir was like a brother, we will seat outside of his hotel door step and chat our way through life. I don't have words to describe my happiness in this place. Will find any excuse to come back to Zagora so I can stay again in this hotel.
Omar, the manager, couldn’t have been more gracious or helpful. We really appreciate his efforts to make our stay as good as possible.
The art gallery is not to be missed, a surprising collection.
We enjoyed a very good dinner and Omar’s hospitality.
This is a good place to stay in Zagora, close to the center but quiet and serene.
Beautiful little apartment in a convenient location to see Zagora and the surrounding area. Family run who were all very helpful and welcoming. Well equipped and furnished to a decent standard. Suitable for solo travellers as well as families. 2 bedrooms and a salon. Plus 2 bathrooms. Air con was very helpful as it was hot outside.
I had a wonderful experience at Riad Zagora Palms. The building was breathtaking, the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. I must mention Ali, who went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zagora. Thank you so much.
This Riad is buried among the tiny streets of Zagora and I only found it because the owner found me and led me to it! The room is small but has everything you need with a basic ensuite. The food is great for dinner and breakfast and I will definitely return to explore more of the Zagora area.
Everything about our stay was perfect! Really liked the breakfast, pool, garden and common areas. Felt like home and not like we're staying at a hotel. A piece of heaven!
Staff's really nice and friendly. The trip in the desert (Erg chegaga) with Yaya was no short of amazing.
It's very authentic place and amazing people. Very helpful staff. Real local life just around the hotel. I found there what I came for! It was so hard to leave. Best what we can get for this price.
The place is beautiful, the people are kind, and the food is amazing. Honestly the best bread I have had in Morocco in over 2 weeks of being here. The food also was the most flavorful. 👌
Very hospitable with welcome snacks and drinks. The hotel has 2 rooms on the ground floor which suited us fine. The owner and his long-term resident were very friendly and helpful.
