Great location. The personnel was warmly welcoming and helpful. We arrived late and they offered us a dinner for a reasonable price— a dinner that would be suitable for 4 people, high quality, home style food. Terrace view is outstanding!

The location is very good.
The location is very good. Sea is 800 m away, central square 400 m, bus station 300 m, railway station 400 m. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, comfortable bed and mattress, air conditioner. The hosts offer free beach umbrellas and blankets for sleeping on the beach. The apartment has internet, there is a smart box with which you can connect your smart devices to the big TV screen.
Unfortunately, the hosts have also had negative experiences , so a security deposit was required before arrival, which was then returned to us.

Bar is an interesting city, not only a touristic, but also a harbour one. You can meet some exotic people here, and some exotic wares at shops' shelves. Most of the city is composed of private houses, therefore it sprawls quite wide, 10+ km along the coast line. But it is long and thin, so to say, and you can always reach sea quickly.

We had the opportunity to visit few cicties on the seaside like Sutomore, Budva or Ulcinj but Bar seems to be quite calm and not crowded place. Additional Bar has it's railway connection with capitol city and aeroport what gives a better possibility to arrive there.

Bar is second largest town in Crna Gora.
Bar is second largest town in Crna Gora. With opportunity for major
redevelopment over recent decades, the centre has been well planned
with an eye to "green" environment. The same may not be said of the
suburbs where there is pressure to intensify building.
The railway and bus stations are on the edge of town - the railway
forming a boundary crossed by bridges to the suburbs beyond. The
docks and port are well separated from the town centre. Some local
public transport exists but seems fairly sparse - fares are cheap.
This is a human-scale town for which a mental map could be easily
developed within a few days.

An interesting place with a beautiful Old Bar.
An interesting place with a beautiful Old Bar.
The heavy traffic on the roads was a bit of a nuisance, and since we were getting around the city and its surroundings by bicycle, we missed having dedicated bike paths.

Nice beaches ,very pleasant people, reasonable prices.
Nice beaches ,very pleasant people, reasonable prices. For those who like combination of seaside view and mountains it's perfect. It's easy to navigate trough town ,very well organized. Down side of staying there is- a lot of traffic -mostly because it's highly visited.
The apartmen is very clean and tidy. We found everything we needed for a stay, same as in the photos. Great value for money!
Spectacular view from the terrace - both seaside view and mountain view.
Amazing hosts - a couple - shared advice on what to see and where to go in Bar and surroundings.
The apartment has a parking lot and a big fridge which is rare in such apartments.
We really enjoyed the BBQ area in the yard next to the children playground.
Quite good and not-so-long road to the beach.
A brand new hostel run by an amazing guy with a very positive vibe and always available for his guests.
The bathroom is AMAZING. it looks like the bathroom you can find in a 4-star hotel. I am NOT joking.
By the way the hostel is nearby the train station that can takes you to the Skadar lake ' s entrance for a very very low fare.
Guys don't hesitate go there. you won't find a better deal in Bar/Montenegro
Interesting little place right next to the beach. We travelled there in off-season, so practically had the whole place to ourselves (literally, we were the only guests in the entire hotel). They have a nice restaurant with quality food as well. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bar right next to the beach, look no further!
I have been few times in Montenegro and definitely this place is best for rest. Unique apartments style, breathtaking views from rooms, pool and private beach. What’s more, the restaurant is vegetarian and vegan friendly! Each person from Dollaku Apart-Hotel was so friendly for us, we are much more than satisfied.
Amazing rooms, great customer service from all staff. While there I took advantage of the many amenities—I ate the continental breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, both excellent, and paid for a facial at their spa. Hotel toiletries are exceedingly impressive, and they use beautifully scented products.
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
the wifi as I had to also work, the pool in the evenings , the beach across the street , the cleanning, the balcony view, the receptionist.
Was the first time in Montenegro for us , but couldn't have found a better place for all 3 of us : 1 mom + 2kids very happy 🥰😍 THANK YOU 😊
Spacious apartment in centre of Bar, in very vicinity of shops, bars, beach. Fully equipped, great bar between kitchen and dining area. Quiet location, ideal to both solo and family travellers. Owner Damir is one of the kind, hospitable and ready to assist for anything.
Fully recommended!
Literally EVERYTHING. The house is big, clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay in bar.
Although, what's really beyond expectations is the host: she is extremely sweet, available and nice.
I can recommend it 100%. Probably the best place we have been in Montenegro :)
Positioned on a quiet hill in Bar, offered easy parking spots in front of the apartment and a nice view over the city and sea. The host was helpful and communication with him was always easy.
It was the only apartment in Montenegro where we could find hooks to hang the towels 😂👍
Loved our stay at this modern, stylish hotel right in central Bar. We admired everything that this hotel has to offer, it is made so well with the modern traveller in mind. The staff were so professional and lovely. Thank you for everything, 100% recommend a stay!
The property was well located on the Bar’s “malecón”. Parking was free in front of the hotel. There was a swimming pool and kind of spa in the ground floor I did not use. The seafront view was nice and the single room could possibly accommodate an extra guest too.
Bar was the final point on my journey in Montenegro and this apartment was the best among all stays in other three cities. Very helpful hosts, well renovated and rich-equipped room in the center, everything as described or better.
Like a 5 stars new hotel except we didn't have waitress, waiter.
No more than 10 meters there is a little restaurant.
There are free decks with mattresses on the own beach.
The see water was perfect (clarity, temperature).
Excellent location apartment near to the promenade and very friendly host. Collected us from the station even as our train was delayed over an hour. First time visiting Montenegro but certainly not the last! Thank you!
Everything. The Hotel is so luxueux , the owner so kindly asking every Day do we need something more. Clean, not near thé beach but ON THE BEACH. Paradise on earth. Everything was more than brillante. So perfect.
Rooms were clean, toilets were okay. City beach is not far away from the hotel (around 10-15 mins walking). We had air conditioner so it was always cool in our room.
Host was very welcoming but at the same time gave freedom and space. Great value for money. If I would visit Bar again I would choose the same apartment.
