Villas Promis, hotel in Čanj

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Villas Promis is located in Čanj. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

Very nice building with nice apartments. Apartments are well equipped. By far the cleanest apartment we had in Montenegro. Check-in was easy and all of the staff was very nice. One of the more quiet options in the off-season. Great beaches around which can be reached either by hiking or boat. The trail to the nicest beach we found in Montenegro starts right behind the house. All in all we had a perfect stay.

Apartments Zec, hotel in Čanj

Enjoying a beachfront position on the well-known Velika Plaža Beach, Apartments Zec is located 700 metres from the centre of Čanj and features an on-site restaurant with sea views.

ZEC is literally a beach-front apartment. The beach wasn’t really nice, just an average rocky beach. The apartment was nice and clean, the ZEC restaurant was also great! Free Parking in the garden. Owners are nice and they speak english.

Clearly, whole place is a huge health issue.

Clearly, whole place is a huge health issue. Rooms and resort is OK but there are following issues: Restaurant is too small for number of rooms and people checked in. There are no cold and hot food service lines and all the cold meats and cheese are melted, no air conditioning, fly everywhere and on the food. Huge health issue. Rooms are not cleaned at all, we arrived and got dirty room. Whole resort is full of trash. Big complaint to Booking.com as well. I wrote them an email about this issue but they are not monitoring customer service email any longer. They keep directing you to the hotel customer service, which is OK if the issue is fixable but in this case was not. Later on my daughter got sick from food poisoning and was admitted in ER in nearby town. Shame on you booking.com as well.

We visited this place a few times since 2007.

We visited this place a few times since 2007. It became overcrowded and when we take a look at the ongoing construction, this is going to get much worse. It used to be a quiet gem in a gulf. We were very sorry to see it detoriate to a place where we would not come back again.

We rented a room at a Pearl Beach Hotel.

We rented a room at a Pearl Beach Hotel. It was an incredible experience, the room was above expectations so as the full environment. The people were extremely helpful and kind. Čanj is a wonderful city and the staff were the best example of the Montenegrin hospitality! :)

There are many restaurants with a nice staff and good food.

There are many restaurants with a nice staff and good food. We liked Mreža most. In some of the shops it is possible to pay by card. People do not usually speak English but are very helpful. There is a possibility to go for boat trips, there is a boat taxi to Kraljičina plaža. Sutomore, Stari Bar, Petrovac and Sveti Stefan are close enough to be visited by car. There is also a bus connection. As the place is visited mostly by local people, it is not expensive. The beach is nice but a bit crowded. It took some time to find a toilet. There is one very dirty, open but not maintained. The town is not very clean in general. You can see litter and waste everywhere, which is a pity.
