We had an absolutely wonderful time at Lotus House and we would definitely return.
The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet, peaceful setting. The house is in the middle of a historic village and there is a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
The family is incredibly welcoming and friendly. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make our stay at Lotus House unforgettable. The food was delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients.
The beds were very comfortable and we slept soundly every night. The house was spotlessly clean and well-maintained.
We would highly recommend Lotus House to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable vacation in Montenegro.

I'd recommend both the hotel and restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I stopped on a bikepacking trip and no problem to store my bike. The hot water and high water pressure of the shower were truly a gift!! I had trout at the restaurant it was really fresh and flavorful. highly recommend!

The room was impeccable. The garden view, the bathroom, the decoration, and the amenities were all excellent. It was quite peaceful and cozy. I'd definitely stay here for at least two nights the next time I'm in Podgorica.

The host and his family were very nice and helpful (they even printed our boarding passes for free), the place was superb, near a river and a forest. It's a very peaceful place not too far away from the city.
The food made by Marko's mother was delicious: she even made us veggie dishes as we asked. We had dinner and lunch.
Zorka, the family dog is fantastic: she took us to the forest to spot a herd of wild horses and then she took us back. After that she lead us to the castle and back: she's been a great companion for our trekking. I would definitely reccomend.

Dodosi is a very small village and as a result, everyone knows each other and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed. It was the polar opposite of my home in London! It is quiet, safe and you can see all the stars in the sky at night!

Dodosi is a small city with around 16 permanent residents. It is a quiet small town by the river. There are two restaurants by the river where you can eat meat or fish, salads, fries,...there are tourists coming on the boat but it is still very quiet. You can swim in the river or take a boat trip. We visited some small cities around Dodosi by car. Rijeka Crnojevica is highly recommended. These place are to be visited now before the tourists will invade them :).
