Nosy Be is a lovely island, although you need to be prepared...
Nosy Be is a lovely island, although you need to be prepared for the roads and poverty, especially within the towns. In the countryside, there are some amazing places to stay and visit. Money can be difficult to get hold of as most of the ATMs are within the towns. We found that our hotel would exchange Euros for Ariary but that may not be the same everywhere. There is a great hostel in Hell Ville called Tamana - it has a great roof top bar and serves really nice food. The Baobab Restaurant in Ambataloaka is really nice and serves a wide range of food but you do need to book in advance.

If you are considering Madagascar do not bother with the mainland, Nosy Be is cleaner, much more beautiful and has all the things one looks for when visiting. Excursion to see the wildlife and the mountain named Mount Passot will be the highlights of my trip here.AndrewUnited Kingdom

If you are in the right season, you will see whales, dolphins and maybe even a giant shark on your trip. Patrik prepared the food excellently. The house for accommodation is stylish. We only spoke English, which is generally a problem on Nosy Be, but we were looked after very well by Sara. A romantic place, but with a caveat. Overall, I recommend the hotel.

The location couldn't be any better. Rooms were super clean. Food was delicious... but the best part was the stuff. They are one of the kindest people we met on madagascar... especialy the owners. They make sure you enjoy every second beeing there. If i ever come back to the island it will be because them! Absolutely recomend you this hotel!

You can notice that a lot of effort and love was put in the hotel, with a nice pool, bungalows next to palm trees and lovely hammocks and other seating areas. The restaurant offered very good local as well as international cuisine. We strongly recommend the fish of the day!

Mr Hugues was really helpful, I got sick and he helped me multiple times, even gave me medication when I needed and was polite with us . The location is quiet , not very far from the center.
