Struga is very pretty. It has the lake and the river.
Struga is very pretty. It has the lake and the river. Lots of interesting walks. The church in the cave is a must see. We used it as a base to do some day trips, which was great. Struga town has nothing to offer, out of camping sites during summer. The city of Ohrid which lies 16 kms away, was interesting and a nice place to spend some time. We had to drive all around the lake or take the daily cruise from Ohrids harbour.

Actually, there is nothing to do in the very place, because it is a small town. It is true that it is located near the Ohrid airport, closer than the city of Ohrid itself. If you want to relax by the lake and take a walk around the city, you will probably find this place too charming. Good, but not fascinating.

It's small, cozy town near Ohrid. Not so touristic and you can easy walk around. The hosts are very kind. A lot of good places to eat local food and nice pazar. The river and the beach of Ohridsko jezero are very nice. Wish I could spend more days here.AAnonymousSlovenia

It's in the middle of the city. but still calm for sleep at night. You can tell that the windows are high quality and you won't hear any outside noises when closed. It's probably one of total 3 hotels in Struga with a gym. so this was one of our main reasons to book Freya. The price is super reasonable and the location is close to downtown Struga and on the road towards Ohrid. The host's family are lovely and were incredibly accommodating with us. They have a free coffee vending machine that makes delicious coffees and if you need and cooking stuff for the kitchen you just need to ask. Staff was very very nice and helpful and the location is amazing. 30 Minutes walk to Struga, direct access to swim in the lake, very calm and beautiful surroundings. I imagine staying at the campsight must be great too, it looks lovely. We are planning to come back for sure!

Plenty of eating places in the local vicinity by the river if needed- easy walk away. Apartment is good value for location and easy drive to Ohrid as well. It is a hotel built in socialist times, but has been fully renovated. The location is central, on the left bank of the Crn Drim river and everything is within walking distance. There were two options for breakfast, but it was OK. I would certainly recommend it for a short stay.
