The only thing we didn't like was being invited to a nearby hotel to supposedly look round and show interest in staying there but ended up them trying to sell us a very expensive membership to a club in exchange for them selling you cheap holidays. For our time they gave us €25 & a free beach bag.Thereafter when we declined there offer they became aggressive . I would warn others not to get involved in this in the first place.

Lots of restaurants, some on the beachfront.
Lots of restaurants, some on the beachfront. We really enjoyed the Travellers Rest - good food, great value and service. Easy access to bus depot for trips to Valetta and Mdina. We did lots of walking along the coast.
Definitely not a beach holiday destination as the coastline is very rocky with only a couple of very small patches of sand. Certainly not suitable for children.

Not a very pleasant place, at least in winter, we saw a gang fight from the balcony and the police were always around at night.
In other words, I didn't feel completely safe in the place, so I could let my guard down and relax without worry!

Visited St Paul’s bay on multiple times, it’s lovely!
The main square has lots of trinket shops, places to eat and cocktail bars.
9 lives on the sea front is amazing for Paella.
Bayside also on the seafront has the best seafood around, amazing service and has spectacular views of the ocean
Valletta is about 30 min away by car or public transportation, still I believe this area is the best for a holiday in Malta.
The hotel is newly refurbished, very clean, great staff, free parking and everything it takes to make you fell great. We had a room at the fifth floor with direct view of the sea and a large balcony with two chairs and a table, it was great.
Breakfast is excellent. The rooftop pool looks great, the weather was against us this time.
Would definitely come back here!

the location is very convenient, it’s close to the seafront and to everything! -restaurants, shops, bus stop/terminal. Its pretty much central to anywhere you wanna go in Malta.
Mark and his wife were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. they let us stay beyond our check out time because we were catching a late flight. what a lovely gesture!
The rooftop of this hotel offers Bugibba's best views of the city and sea. It was very beautiful to watch the sunset from there in the evenings! The pool is big enough, but without heating, so at the beginning of May the water was still quite cold, but at the same time it was nice to cool down after sunbathing. Bugibba Bus Station is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. From there you can take a bus to almost any part of Malta.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were blown away by its modern style, extremely nice, friendly, helpful and professional staff! Overall one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve in a while! Great value for your money at one of the most desired locations in Malta! We will for sure choose this hotel again if we ever were to visit Malta in the future!
Everything was perfect staff are amazing , the room was beautiful , had everything we needed .. loved the little chocolate gift and the towels folded into beautiful swans on the bed , the room smelt lovely , my partner travelled to visit me in Malta for the first time and I was very happy how everything turned out . Lovely hotel !
The rooftop was amazing for views over the ocean and the city. There was a storm the night we were there and we had some wonderful views of lightning, very fun! The room was larger than all of the others we stayed in in Malta. The breakfast was ok. Good location for walking to restaurants.
This hotel is awesome—great location, exceptional service, and it’s very affordable, to my surprise. I had a room on the top floor, with a door to a rooftop and pool. The room was super clean, comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. I enjoyed my stay there (September 2023).
Hotel Bella Vista is in great location with very affordable price tag. It’s great for couple of friends that are on Malta mainly for travelling and use hotel only for the night. Although there were some ups and downs the staff of the hotel was very very nice.
The hotel is located in my favourite part of Malta. Their facilities, spa, restaurant and cafeteria are amazing.
Everyone was very nice, knowledgeble and polite.
Breakfast was so good, the spa was so welcoming and the energy there is incredible.
The service was the best we’ve experienced in Malta. Rooftop infinity pool is amazing. Gorgeous views of the sunset. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a partial sea view room which had lovely views. Breakfast selection was decent.

Restaurant, both breakfast and dinner were good. The waiters and waitresses in the restaurant were always with smiling faces. The hotel was clean and room was big. The staffs in reception were helpful.
Small boutique hotel. Good location to get to other places. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Good choices for breakfast. Bar prices very reasonable. Overall excellent.
Mayflower was the perfect stay for our first of days in Malta. The staff and all amenities is everything you need. The pool view in it self is worth booking the hotel.
