Amazing location !! Great views of the ocean .. five star treatment at a 1/4 of the price ..
the staff are incredible and will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect 💜 they collect you from the airport and make sure you’re safely on your way too and will even stand and wave you good bye which was super sweet !! The activists are easily booked through the hotel and such fun .. special mention to Adriano Muhammad at the excisions desk .. and Krhys at the hotel reception desk for being so friendly and helpful .. also Ruwi and Zara for making sure our transfer was effortless… also special thanks to the crew that took us snorkelling on Tuesday where we saw dolphins, Aslam and friends :)

Loved the food, the room were very comfortable and had amazing view of the beach and ocean. Central location. The hotel arranged excursions and activities were awesome. The “Real Break” and “day pass to Centara resort” is a must in addition to others. And yea their staff member “Tiger” and “kasun” and all others were very helpful. Tiger is your go to guy in case of any issue and booking of excursions and honest opinions for what excursions to do. Overall must recommended for stays
Too much Broken coral making it hard to enjoy walk in water. So remember to buy rubber beach walk shoes from any local souvenir shop

This is a small, cozy guesthouse. The service is super level in terms of support and assistance, they will help and tell you where and how to go or how to book. Shozol and another one employ a very kind and nice managers. The food is simple and unpretentious, but fresh. My Wi-Fi was excellent, but you get tired of reconnecting every couple of minutes. This is a great place for those who constantly go on excursions every day.

The trips on offer are spectacular. I would advise you understand the type of boat you are going on and check the weather. Salt Beach do fabulous trips and the guys on the boats are great. We did have a trip with 'Maldivian Fellows' I was very disappointed with this one as they didn't have watchers looking at the people in the water and showed no encouragement to people that were a little nervous like 'Salt Beach' guys We did the parasailing which was fabulous. We booked this with the guys next to the bikini beach and they were great. Ive been to the island 5 times now and love its rustic charm although it is getting busier. I can highly recommend the 'Juice Vibe' for the best coffee and juices. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, my favourites are 'Moonlight' which is situated at the opposite end to bikini beach and the Indian restaurant next to the Kanni hotel. People of Maafushi treat you based on the following: if you are white-skinned and living in a resort, you get the best treatments. After that, white-skinned, then brown-skinned in the resort, and the rest are treated like they don't belong in their precious land. Their definition of hospitality means you are meant to agree and not counter when they suggest something. If you have a different opinion, you are rude and disrespectful. It is a very beautiful small island with very warm and hospitable people. With azure water and golden beaches. Prices are very affordable, there are several good restaurants. It was impossible to swim because there are many reefs in the water inside and we caught our feet many times, which is why we could not go into deep water, and near the shore there is waist-deep water. No one has informed us about this. The hotel must inform the guests about such details in advance. It would be good if there would be a bridge for those who want to swim in deep water, which would give them the opportunity to go directly into deep water.

Everyone is friendly and want to make sure you have a good time. Many options to rent water crafts, fun water sport items. Many excursions that give you exactly as they are advertise. Maafushi is currently a construction site.
Maafushi is currently a construction site. There is building work everywhere on the island which is only 1km x 300m. It is not a paradise island at the moment. There are lots of restaurant options but it is not cheap if you choose a venue that doesn't include the service charge and government tax in the meal price. I would avoid Maafushi until its been re-built.

The hotel staff was kind, knowledgeable and very friendly; I would like to specifically mention about Khadir who was with us ever since we reached Mafushi. we had very good island trips to Fihalhohi & Raanalhi. Kids enjoyed water activities like Fun Tube, Snorkeling & Jet Ski. My wife n myself had the best parasail experience. overall 10/10 for value for money, comfort and excellent stay at Mafushi Kaani Palm Beach 👌
