We were able to walk to several great beaches, amazing restaurants, lookouts over the city, markets, etc. We never got to all of the restaurants and activities that we wanted to do! There is so much! The sunsets from the malecon are not to be missed!

There are a host of places to stay in Puerto Vallarta. But, they vary in quality. I strongly recommend the the Hyatt Zeva, Puerto Vallarta. This is an all inclusive venue. The facilities are excellent, well maintained and beautiful! I love an April visit. It is the end of the High Season. There are fewer guests, and the weather is very pleasant. we have been coming here for over 25 years, PV has changed so much. It's very busy with many tourists, but you can still find a lot of good restaurants and the people are so friendly. I come from CA, so its an easy flight and sunny when it's winter at home. Great seafood, guacamole and margaritias!
