The view of the upper rooms was just insane. In general the rooms were very tastefully decorated. On top it was very quiet.

Location fantastic in a wonderful beach. Food offering very poor and inconsistent (on various days: no coffee available; no fresh fruit; unable to make an omelette although on menu etc). This is a relatively new hotel Posada but they don’t seem to understand basic service needs. Room was fine and clean. Staff trying but management lacks experience.

Such a unique space that was charming and industrial at the same time. In keeping with the extremely clean environment each unit had a funky and functional foot washing station that 'almost' ensured a sand-free floor. I could have showered for hours in the spacious semi indoor/outdoor rain shower!!

Beautiful, well-maintained building, far enough from the main drag to be quiet. The driveway is daunting the first time. Delightful staff. Very comfortable beds.

Great view on the ocean and only 3 mn walk to the beach. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Our family room was simple and charming. The restaurant doesn't open in the afternoon but we felt we had a private chef because we were planning what we wanted to eat for breakfast and lunch with him for the next day... and it was always delicious! Very nice staff.

San Agustinillo is a sleepy village where the primary activities are lounging, swimming, surfing, and eating. It seems European/North American expats make up a large proportion of permanent residents, making it difficult to discern who the tourists are, so expect to see high numbers of caucasians. Nearby Mazunte (15 min walk) is slightly larger but is much the same with more dining/shopping options open later into the evening, attracting a younger crowd.

Lovely beach, but waves too big for young children.
Lovely beach, but waves too big for young children. Quiet little town, much mellower then Mazunte. Lots of traffic on the main road. Remember to bring cash - the ATM overcharged us (and many others), and most places only accept cash. I'd definitelty recommend getting out on a boat to see dolphins, turtles, and maybe a whale!

It’s a small pretty town with fun activities and places to visit. It’s a good place to relax and forget about everything else. I’ll recommend visiting the neighbor towns (Puerto Angel, Zipolite, Mazunte, and Ventanilla). Zipolite is a nude beach that has nice hotels, beach-clubs, and restaurants. Ventanilla is fun to see the Crocodiles, horse back ride, and turtles. Mazunte has the turtle museum which is not very good. It’s nice to walk around. Visit Punta cometa.

The beach is very nice.
The beach is very nice. There are some nice restaurants or bars on the street but not so many options and not so living place like mazunte. However, you can easily walk to mazunte and rinconcito street.

This accommodation was 10/10.
This accommodation was 10/10. We rented a scooter for 500mx/day which was easy to travel between the town of Mazunte/Zipolite and San Agustinillo with no issues (day or night). I would highly recommend this stay if you are looking for a little more remote and relaxation. It is a little out of the main town so a scooter was convenient. Otherwise, the hotel will help you getting a cab whenever you need.

San Agustinillo is a peaceful destination on the Mexican Pacific coast of Oaxaca.
The town is clean, safe and friendly. There are plenty of opportunities to practice self care.

The property has a spectacular view of the ocean, and it is very quiet, high above the hussle of San Agustinillo. We were confident that it was safe and secure, as it was located at the end of a long driveway and was walled next to the road. The village of San Agustinillo has great restaurants for fish and several choices of beaches, from surf spots to lagoons with no waves at all. The whale watching boat trip was well worth it, so long as you can tolerate high speeds in a small boat over the open waters.
This hotel has a beachside and an across the street facility. The beachside rooms are all overlooking the ocean and in my opinion a great value. You can watch the big waves breaking and people surfing plus some sunset views. Our room was clean and large and exactly what we expected. It's not a resort or fancy accommodation, but that is what we were looking for. It has good WFi. Mary restaurants are nearby and it's very easy to hail a Collectivo or Taxi.
A perfect hotel located on the most beautiful beach there is.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar with excellent food prices and service.
On the beach there are rocking beds with comfortable mattresses that you can lie on and relax.
The hotel staff was excellent and always helped us with any questions.
The room was large and spacious with our own balcony.
This property is wonderful -- all the rooms have outstanding views, and the decor is simple and elegant. The restaurant is delicious and the hotel is located within a 10 minute walk to the beach. I can't say enough nice things about the staff here: so friendly, attentive, nice, considerate! I really enjoyed my stay with them. Thank you!
Great location right on the beach. Simple but very comfortable cabanas and good vibe.
Staff are exceptional and will look after any and all whims, and are full good of advise and recommendations.
Makes for a chilled and perfect recharge spot.
Literally right on the sand, clean rooms, excellent staff. My girlfriend arrived from Oaxaca with food poisoning, and they bent over backwards to make everything comfortable for her til she recovered. Absolutely wonderful people.
We liked everything about the hotel, fantastic location, super chill and clean environment, good food, good drinks, quite place, nice simple designed confortable rooms, friendly personel and of course beautiful scenery.
The hotel is really charming and beautiful and the location is absolutely amazing. Right on the beach!
The staff was also really nice and attentive, they really made us feel well taken care of at all times.
Excellent place to relax, there is not need to leave the hotel other than a walk at the beach!
The restaurant is very good, the room had a great ocean view and sleeping with sounds of the sea was perfect!
We were pleasantly surprised with the perfection of this place. There was not a single thing we would change. Hotel is amazing, staff is great, views are gorgeous, everything is clean. AMAZING!
The location is really good! 2 minutes from a great beach, just between Mazunte and San Agustinillo. The room was beautiful and the view is breathtaking!
