We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albatross Suites. We stayed in the 2 bedroom sea view apartment, which was exactly as pictured. The staff are all excellent & the included breakfast was delicious. The only downside is the location, as there is not much within walking distance, although there is a convenience store right next door.

Hotel Caribe was is a great location. Conveniently located an easy walk from the downtown activities and lots of great food. The staff was great and really friendly. The enclosed courtyard and private parking for our rental were better than expected. On-site 24 hour staff and the gates to the parking area were secured at night. There was decent water pressure and hot water in the mornings and evenings. The outside clothes drying area made cleaning our dive gear and drying everything so easy. On our next stay we will definately book Hotel Caribe.

K'ooben Laab You must eat there!!!
K'ooben Laab You must eat there!!! All their food is good and the one thing I regret was not trying their special until the last night. (Yes 4 meals there). Kondesa is another must experience. Great food, ambience, and live music. We did Buccanos for the day beach resort. Entry fee is applied to bar/food bill. Cozumel Sailing out of the north marina. They will give you a great day on the water. If the wind is good they'll get you a spinnaker ride! Check it out! The snorkeling is great! Easy to get around Island if you rent a vehicle or the Taxi's are easy and plentiful. Drivers are very nice and very helpful.

We stayed at the Barracuda twice. Once two weeks prior.
We stayed at the Barracuda twice. Once two weeks prior. This time it was because our booking at another resort was mishandled. I knew we would have just as a good, or better time if we spent the last 5 days at the Barracuda. We did. We enjoy being close to downtown for shopping and especially eating. We have two friends on the island that make for having a great time. This time we rented for one day a dune buggy. I went parasailing, my wife, snorkeling. We enjoy resting and taking int eh beach area of the Barracuda and the No Name Bar. As one staying there we received a 50% off our drinks and food if we paid cash (we did). Credit card still got you a 35% off. It was wonderful. When back in Cozumel, we will stay there from 1 to 4 nights anytime.

Since my first visit more than forty years ago, Cozumel has grown by an order of magnitude. I always consider it unfortunate but perhaps inevitable when the cruise ships find an island paradise. There follows all the same shops (tanzanite, anyone?) and price inflation, and for divers like us, it doesn't do the reefs any good. But Cozumel still has its charm. You can walk away from the cruise ship dominated centro and find a delightful town. Most of the Island is undeveloped and the windward side is fun to visit. Rent a jeep or a volkswagen convertible, grab your snorkeling gear, and spend the day swimming and snorkeling from a number of beaches. And of course the magnificent reefs that made Cozumel famous with SCUBA divers.

Sue strand was the best host her place is awesome the home is beautiful and best location you have everything you need in her home so don’t pack a lot I stayed two weeks originally it was for one I didn’t want to go home thankfully she had extra days open I did not want to go home and already let her know I am coming back in six weeks.I named her place Sue’s Heaven because that what it felt like entering her wrought iron gate you feel like all your worries are left at the door.Sue place is in the safest area right in town with locked gate and locked front door and a locked entrance to second floor and again a lock on your private entrance to your room which I never felt like I had to lock. Her neighbor next door is the sweetest lady I loved it that I get up normally around four am for coffee and she is an early bird so I would have a coffee buddy and she loves to go walking in morning first morning there we walked on ocean for six miles and stopped at my favorite restaurant on ocean Sunset and had the best breakfast than off to walk it off when we got back home I jumped in the lovely pool and layer out on lounger for the rest of the day so private. So if your looking at places to stay this is it I have been coming to Cozumel for forty years and stayed at resorts are condos which cost a a lot more and still needed to rent a car to get around but Sue place is in town a block from ocean and two blocks to grocery store and one block from heart of cozumel central square everything at your fingertips. What was great take you snorkle gear and walk up to beach no cost and swim and snorkle all day and every day.

Coral Island Suites is perfect for rest and relaxation!
Coral Island Suites is perfect for rest and relaxation! It is clean and beautiful. Jasmine is the best host! It’s located in a typical Mexican neighborhood-not noisy at night. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Definitely get a rental car-you’re not close to town and you’ll want to go to the other side of the island. The only disappointment for us was not swimming in the ocean-but we could have gone to one of the nearby beach clubs if we wanted. The pool is fantastic! Plenty of loungers. You’ll love it!!

I would go walking from hotel to diving boat marina every morning at 6:00AM and pet the dogs Shasho and Chapiro at the dive boat marina. been coming here for 40 years..then I go and play basketball with the locals as I have for 40 years...got a massage with Lucy +52 987 100 2744...each day for 26 days...Lucy is the best in the world....then go eat at Sucre Salse or Gordita Burrito....then go drink fresh coconut juice from the juice stand on the street 1/4 mile North of the airport connecting road by the ocean...I've spent a year of my life doing this and thank God that I can live the life I live.....
We absolutely loved the staff. We usually go to 5 stars hotels but the friendliness of everyone at the resort really leaves you speechless. every single member of the staff is walking around smiling and greeting you, and it definitely makes a great impression. Loved the food, especially at Faro Blanco and El Cap. As soon as we got there for my daughter's birthday, they upgraded our room which was amazing, and it had a great beach access. The whole resort was really well kept and the complementary beverage service really amazing.
The location is very convenient to Cozumel tourist concerns: the ferry, the airport, San Miguel plaza, rental car agencies, dive shops, restaurants, and supermarkets. The room's air conditioning was excellent and cooled the room just a couple of minutes. Despite the proximity to a dog-care facility, with the windows closed, the dog barking wasn't disruptive. The hosts/staff provided everything I requested, although sometimes it took several requests and more time than I would have expected.
Location, the pool, breakfast, and the private beach! You get what you paid for and more! Definitely a great option to stay in Cozumel, about 15min-20min walk (5 min in car) to the pier and most restaurants and bars. Be mindful that the hotel (and several others in the vicinity) do not have a beach as most of us know it, the beach is like a combination of natural swimming pools! I loved them as it is ideal to do snorkeling and scuba diving!
The hotel is a 15-20 minute cab ride outside of Cozumel. Access to the resort including the beach is controlled and only possible for hotel guests (and employees). The location was perfect to totally relax. The hotel has a super nice beach and very well maintained beautiful garden. It has an own dive center.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and the linen was very clean.
Great location.. we hired a jeep straight from getting off the ferry.. just a 5 minute drive to get to the hotel. Nicely positioned by the sea and excursions stand. Crystal clear water literally across the road.. helpful staff, answered any questions we had and allowed us to check in much earlier than the set time. Would recommend this hotel to friends to stay if they visited cozumel.
Teresa the household is amazing! She was so helpfull kind and thoughtful, she made our stay great with her caring and recomandations.
The room is very nice with a huge comfurtable bed, shower water pressure was suprisingly strong unlike most hotels in mexico!
The location is perfect, very close to the center yet quite and safe.
Next time we visit cozumel we will surely be back here!
The location of the hotel is great. The hotel has a beautiful beach, maybe the best beach I have ever seen. Everything is very well organized on the beach. The loungers are also very well hidden under the palm trees, so that you always feel comfortable and find peace. The beach is super clean and probably the best in the Yucatan. The stuff in the lobby is very friendly and helpful.
I Stayed in the outdoor room, it was beautiful, although check weather (it's not as fun in a storm). The staff are so lovely.
The breakfast is amazing. By far the best breakfast I've ever had included in a hotel.
Location wise it's a little back from the main streets, which i personally liked- there's a supermarket next door and much cheaper cafes/taco places nearby.
Nice hotel, everything clean, with Booking you get a small continental breakfast (emphasizing on small) but it's good. A water suspender would have been nice as we have often seen on other hotels. Also, price value worth is not as good as other places but that might come with Cozumel being a bit touristy. Apart from that everything's fine and good location
Cozy little "boutique" hotel with friendly, efficient, smiling, helpful staff, especially Yisel. Spacious, comfy rooms with good amenities.
Coffeemaker in the room wasn't working, but it was promptly replaced by the staff.
Good location (not seafront, obviously)
Nice, filling breakfast with eggs, ham, bacon, toast, fruit, coffee, juices.
Charming hotel in the middle of Cozumel touristic area. Late checkout and luggage storage available. Drinking water provided. Eclectic interior gives off special vibe. There is a courtyard with tables in the middle, where you can chill. Two large beds in the room and plenty of cushions. Airco worked fine.
We booked this hotel because we wanted to enjoy snorkeling. You can rent the equipment for free. We expected a bit more from this place, our apartment was a bit outdated and the entrance was from the side, so no view at all, but we had a lovely time. The sunsets on the beach are breathtaking.
The food was pretty good for an all inclusive, the gentleman at the bars and who helped get taxis were all very helpful and friendly. The Easter dinner was especially good. Also the people who served food and drink on the beach were also very nice.
It's a simple room, no fluff here. i go to Cozumel for scuba diving and that's my primary focus. It's inexpensive lodging for that purpose. Close to my dive shop and plenty of dining options.
