Casa de la Luz - Studio Apartment, hotel in Tlacotalpan

Casa De La Luz – Studio Apartment is located 100 metres from the River Papaloapan in Tlacotalpan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers a free morning coffee service and free Wi-Fi.

Our host was wonderful and very helpful. He also shared local history and photographs of the town. He is an artist, and we talked art and painting which was quite fun. The apartment was well located in an unusual town. Birds were prevalent and our room view into a flowering shrub was quite relaxing. We had been driving for several days, so our stop here really recharged our batteries.

Breakfast was available (contrary to some reviews) - it was simple and very tasty. The welcome glass of torita was delicious. This is a fabulous property with lovely staff, who went the extra distance to look after us.
