The food if you the right place to go to. If you like Bak Kut Teh, there are a couple of shops which are good in P.Klang and Bukit Tinggi area. Lots of cafes. Traffic jams are daily affair and if you plan your time you may avoid the long jam. Explore the jetties & Crab Island if you have the time. Seafood is really fresh.

Klang is a good place to immerse in culture because of the heritage buildings and towns - Chinatown, Indian street, Malay plots - all in one! Good food is abundance and the people are friendly - despite many stereotyping Klang as a gangsta land :)

Klang is a convenient location to discover KL and its...
Klang is a convenient location to discover KL and its surroundings - we visited KL downtown, the Batu Caves, Genting Highlands and Putrajaya while staying in Klang, reasonably near but far enough from the crowds. But Klang itself is worth a visit too: we warmly recommend the free Klang Heritage Walk with a professional guide from Tourism Selangor, every Sat and Sun at 9am at the Royal Gallery.

I am Malay Muslim. There were 1 area nearby hotel that has restaurants, opposite KFC, however it closed at 10pm. I finished work at 11pm. It is so hard to find an alternative place to eat. A cozy way to explore Klang by taking a walk at the Little India and Indian food, taste the well known Pandan Layer cake, check in latest creative wall murals nearby. At night, you may try our fresh-catch seafood, enjoy sea breeze with a nice cup of fermented coconut drink. For pork eater, don't forget to try the world well known Bak Kut Teh, herbal braised pork soup serves with rice. Klang is best travel with car and motor ride. Enjoy Klang.TanMalaysia

Aeon is just across the road, and Landmark (with many restaurants) is just beside the hotel, they're 1-3 minutes walking distance, need not worry about the food and any daily necessities. My partner and I are very satisfied with the stay, it's definitely one of the best (and cheapest) options in Port Klang area. Will surely go back on our next stay (Hopefully the price doesn't go up tho)ChongMalaysia
