Places to visit were the large park approaching Eagle Square, the Jetty, Maha Tower, beautiful sunsets, Giant Eagle Statue, Shopping Plaza & serene beach near the jetty. Maha Tower changes colour after sunset. Hotel staff very helpful & friendly & free buffet breakfast was also very good with a variety of choices of food. Afternoon high tea was also included for free for an extra nibble with coffee, tea or juice.

The people , the food, overall prices as this is a duty free island... Very easy to navigate in a car.. plenty of places tosee and experience.. Cable Car... Oriental Village, Resteruants, Pentai Chenang.. Yellow Beach Cafe.. Underwater World... Green Coconuts... Malaysian Cuisine. Thai Cuisine, Indian Cuisine...all excellent.. Good Clean Water...No Tummy upsets as per other Asian experiences.

Town area and not very crowded. Good for vacation and stay for 3-4days will be enough for whole tour. Going to the beach area just around 30 mins drive and not very far away. An excellent place to visit close enough to the main jetty port! The eagle square and a few natural parks (GEO park, Legenda Park) that are free and beautiful. The Maha tower is close by as well as well as a shopping mall and the local market on Wed. and Saturday nights is excellent to visit. I think to explore you'd only need 3-4 days and best to relocate to other areas of the island for a longer stay.JenniferCanada - 8.0Scored 8.0

We visited few of the duty free wine shops and we get really good bargain for the good wines. Chocolates shop as well are all within Kuah. We managed to buy some fresh prawns and crabs from the local and brought to the local restaurant to cook, the best ever!TracyMalaysia - 10Scored 10
Kuah is a lovely introduction to Langkawi.
Kuah is a lovely introduction to Langkawi. Close to the ferry port with a beautiful park to walk around with stunning wild monkeys and birds. It is taking time to recover from COVID and so, lots of bars are closed either permanently or for renovations. Food options are good. You can use grab to book taxis and cutti cutti apps to book ferries and activities. The roads are in excellent condition and very quiet, so renting a bike is enjoyable. The bank garage has excellent bikes. I used the dentist ,who was excellent, kind ,gentle and reasonably priced, I was able to get an appointment the next day. Although predominately Moslem ,you can find alcoholic drinks in some restaurants and in shops such as 7/11 and local owner shops. Good coffee shops.Clarke

The location was halfway between Kuah town, and Kuah wharf. This was perfect for me. I hope I get back to stay at Chill Suites Langkawi one day.

Every morning we walked to have breakfast in the area before sight seeing. The nice thing is is the local people live in Kuah which makes the experience even better. The owner is responsive and made our stay enjoyable. And we loved the fantastic view!
