Great stay in the desert. The lodge offers everything you wish for - nice and friendly staff, really good food (the dinner is just wow) and a great view. We booked a tour into sossuvlei at the lodge - that was a great choice. The guide was highly motivated, took us to the best places (also the ones that are not the tourist hotspots) and explained a lot of things about the landscape. Would definitely come back to desert homestead lodge if I will ever be in the area again.

I was at one of the private campsites. Beautifully designed and built with everything an overlander could want. Absolutely superb! Sites well spaced with about 400m between sites. Highly recommended.
