Wide selection of cereals, meats, cheeses and pastries for breakfast. Hotel was ideally situated for our needs, we were attending the European Dodgeball Championships at the sports centre but is a fairly long walk to restaurants there is an Aldi about 10 - 15 minutes walk for supplies.

The restaurant is typical van der Valk and the food quality is good. All facilities for having drinks or food are there. The hotel is on the outskirt of Drachten but I didn't mind walking to town after a long drive from Germany.
