Staff and reception were fine, our very spatious room was on the top (3rd) floor under the roof with 3 large windows (with blinds). We found a fridge, a TV, a sofa and a table. All the sanitary facilities worked nicely.
The hotel / restaurant has a very nice terrace where you can drink after your (our) walk.
Breakfast was good, served at the table (no buffet), but enough to choose from.
All in all a good price for the offering!

Outwith a rather noisy birthday party both in the dining room and outside in the garden on one of the evenings we would say that the stay was perfect. Staff were extremely helpful and should anyone be considering visiting the area we would without hesitation recommend Hotel Creusen.

I love to hike and the rolling hills surrounding Epen are ideal for good hikes with a great view, but you're also close to Maastricht and Aken (both by car and public transport). The countryside is beautiful, and many locals sell cherries and other fruit from their own orchards. There are several nice restaurants with al fresco dining options. De Smidse has got a nice menu and local ales. In the spring/summer also check out the 'Wingbergerhoeve' for ice cream with red fruit.
I had been here before and the hotel again met the (high) expectations. Located in a designated "silent area" (which lives up to its name) on the Dutch/Belgian border, this hotel is a great place for a retreat. Surrounded by hills, forests and streams, it is an excellent starting point for hikes or bike tours. It is not far from the lively cities of Aachen (Germany) and Maastricht. The bar is situated in a cosy living-room with two fireplaces and comfortable couches and chairs. Last, but not least, the breakfast is superb.

We loved the staff, they were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our purpose. Such a cozy and lovely hotel that seemed like a bed and breakfast...very personal. We loved it so much that we made another reservation for our next stay.
The beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly.
Though the internet connection was via (unprotected) hot spots, it was very fast and had a good range.
The breakfast was very good with lots of choices in bread, fruits, yoghurts etc.
Big parking lot at the back of the hotel.
The hotel is in a quite area, near many walking/hiking trails. The town is very nice and the hotel is decorated great. Room was also very nice and love the quality of the room. The staff are amazing and were very nice and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was like high quality.
A very nice hotel with very friendly staff. The accommodation has a nice atmosphere. The rooms had a lot of space with a nice balcony with a beautiful view.
Breakfast was nice with a lot of options and good variety of products.
For sure we will visit here again.
