The staff members were super friendly. We had a little emergency and needed an ambulance. The hotel's employees could not have handled the situation any better. Excellent service! The food in the restaurant was great. Breakfast good as well! Arrival by car and train is easy. It's perfect for a relaxed few days. Espescially if you like to use a sauna.

It was fantastic stay. Our first day in the Netherlands could not start better. The beds were very comfortable, the house from outside as well as inside is very nice and has style, the surrounding village and nature is lovely, breakfast was superb and cats were adorable. 😉 Owners were kind and helpful. They gave us good advice regarding our follow up travel islands.

The pictures cannot demonstrate the beauty of this little country house. It is like it emerged from the fairy tails that we were reading as kids. The owners have paid attention to every single detail; the decoration is amazing and everything fits perfectly. It was spotless. It even had vegan milk on a coffee table to make your own beverage, remote controls for the lights, board games, iron with iron board, a vacuum e.tc. The owner was very friendly, polite and helpful. Staying here was a great experience; even my adolescent children loved it. I definitely recommend it and I know that I will revisit some day

This is a Bed and Breakfast establishment, so we had little expectations in the way of facilities. The building, itself, is a stunning piece of vernacular building. It is set in an agricultural setting, approximately 100 metres away from the main dyke which keeps the Eems river at bay. It was a perfect central location for visiting the many, and beautiful, Romanesque churches in the area. The bedrooms are large and functional. Breakfast was served in the room. There is no choice. It is a typical Dutch family breakfast. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. There are cats, Alpacas, a horse and a tame crow for company.
