We stayed at a hotel that is in the same building as the aqua park. The rooms are pretty decent, but basic. We liked the proximity of the aqua park and restaurants. The territory of the complex is also very nice with lots of entertainment.

The hotel was exactly as advertised in a fabulous tranquil setting on the lake. the room was like a duplex, with the bedroom upstairs on a mezzanine, the downstairs small and cosy lounge area with en suite bathroom, with a small terrace and view on the lake. Definetly recommended
Oeffelt is in a quiet corner of NL. It has quite a few nice walking trails, of varying lengths, through the quite varied landscape: there are even some hills!
The Afrika Museum and Vrijheids Museum are close by, and both worth a visit.
