Very beautiful place, the green environment around , the quiet, beautiful modern rooms and lovely pictures on the wall , fact that you can open a window in the room.
Ideally located along the A44, Bastion Hotel Leiden Oegstgeest provides easy access to Leiden, The Hague, the flower auction of Rijnsburg and the beach.

Good variety at breakfast, clean rooms, manager was very helpful when they double charged me. However they double charged me, didn't respond to any contact prior to the stay regarding the attempts to double charge me.
Set in Oegstgeest, 14 km from Paleis Huis Ten Bosch, Villa Beukenhof offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The Paris room had a nice wide bath which for my broad shoulders is rare & his and her basins is a nice touch, with a comfortable and cosy bedroom.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and the meal exceptional, with very good service.
A very short walk to the end of the road leads to a small high street with a collection of cafes & restaurants with
a super market in case you need provisions. The bus services near by are great for getting into Leiden and so less stressful than driving and parking which we did once to fing the only parking option was 28 euros for the day !
Located on the edge of Noordwijkerhout, this conference hotel features 4 restaurants, 3 bars and a terrace. Keukenhof can be reached within 10 minutes by car.

The location was excellent. Everything was very clean and the staff were lovely. Our request for a late check out was also approved quickly which we appreciated.
Hotel Mayflower is located downtown in one of the best locations in Leiden.

Great location within the centre of the old town. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants right outside the front door. Easy walking distance to all Leiden attractions. Convenient parking nearby at Parkeergarage Lammermarkt.
This family-run hotel offers rooms with private bathroom facilities only 100 metres from the beach in Noordwijk aan Zee. It features free Wi-Fi and a terrace.

24 hour tea/coffee making facilities in comfortable lounge and outdoor terrace. Free parking in public car park during stay. Excellent buffet breakfasts.
I liked the surrounding areas but it was heavy rains.
I liked the surrounding areas but it was heavy rains. Couldn't walk around. Very sad. The check in staff are friendly and helpful. Service oriented and professional. The bed was clean and comfortable. Smart TV. I can watch my Chinese drama on YouTube. The breakfast was okay. The dinner was 3-5 courses meals and no à la carte menu. A bit disappointing. Overall it is a beautiful hotel. It's nice for those who enjoy nature, hiking and walking.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel to stay, this hotel is excellent.
In my opinion the room i was in was small and for me, it was too small for 2 people.
The service staff we dealt with over 18, 19 & 20 October were helpful and tried their best to address any concerns raised.

Oesgstgeest is a great place to stay if you are looking to visit Leiden, The Hague and Utrecht. To be honest I don't know much about the town itself, which is more like a suburban neighbourhood between Leiden and Utrecht than an actual travel destination.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the castle.
We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the castle. The castle itself and most of the grounds were beautiful and well kept, no complaints there. However, the accommodation is another story. The room itself was nicely appointed but very small, there was absolutely no ventilation other than 1 window which opened a short way, no air-conditioning or extractor fan in the bathroom or toilet. On the day of the wedding it was 30degC. The room was serviced daily, that was fine but the milk/coffee/tea was not replenished in the 5 days we stayed so ran out after day one, requests for more fell on deaf ears. There was a door to the garden area where you could sit, however the grounds around here were unweeded and scruffy and littered, so not pleasant. There were a couple of times we asked reception for assistance, all very helpful at the time, but the assistance never eventuated. Seems they are more concerned with the functions and the accommodation is just an add on secondary service. The food in the restaurant was okay, nothing special. The outside eating area could have done with a good tidy up too. Really disappointed and wished we hadn't been stuck there for so long.
The hotel was clean and the rooms are compact but had everything we needed. However, it was the staff that really made this place stand out! From the cleaners to the barmen to to the reception staff, they were all friendly, attentive and helpful. They made our stay! A special thanks to Michiel and Isabel behind the front desk who were incredibly helpful and made our lives so much easier, thanks again :)
Everybody was very nice, great services, awesome breakfast. The room was big and quite, even though the highway was right next to the hotel. Parking with a lot of spots, at a very good price also (at least compared to other hotels). And in the lobby, they have a small shop with all the essentials (from snacks to toothbrush and phone chargers).
Lovely hotel in a quiet spot with Friendly staff. Room was spacious, clean and tidy. Hotel is adjacent to the castle, which you can look into (mostly used for events). Small well maintained grounds you can take a short walk around. 15 mins cycle from the centre of Leiden. Best to drive but also some good bus connections.
Friendly, courteous staff, service above and beyond expectations. Food is very good, availability of the restaurant for breakfast and dinner very nice for travelers, excellent tap water. Hotel location is great--near stores that carry necessities, easy access to public transportation. Very good value for room rates.
I loved the room on the hotel's quiet side, the unlimited access to the coffee machine and teas, and free fruits. Two hotel staff members, Frisline and Erika, were personable and helpful. I had a bike with me, and appreciated the hotel providing an indoor space to store it overnight.
We loved Villa Beukenhof! The gardens are stunning. We were in the Dubai room. Our friends had the Paris room. Both our beds were very comfortable. And the bathrooms were spacious and wonderful. I would definitely book again if traveling this area.
Everything was splendid.
You feel like a VIP while staying at this hotel. Rooms are perfect, location and the building itself is heavenly, staff is friendly. What can one ask for more, I dont know. :)
Thank you for all ! ♥
Location is everything with this hotel. It has extensive grounds around the small castle that are great for walking, and it is in walking distance of the restaurant area.
Great hotel located right in the park of a beautiful castle. Great for spending the night in tranquility surrounded by nature, and still very close to Leiden by bike.
People in the hotel are perfect and super kind! They even helped us to organize some gift that we couldn't pick up due to arrival time and that was awesome!
Bed was large and extremely comfortable, had a fantastic rest.
The staff were all very helpful and pleasant, Hotel offer a free drink voucher to each guest
