The hotel was was very quiet and in the perfect location of Haarlem. The room was large and comfortable. The best part of the Hotel Lion D'Or was the staff. EVERYONE we met (especially all the front desk staff) were VERY helpful and friendly. They made our stay very memorable.

Location is superb, on a couple of hundred metres from the Grotemarkt, and right next to a bar called Cafe Stiels. Getting there by public transport is easy and the place is very comfortable. The shower wasn't warming up on our first day so we messaged the host and they had someone out and fixing it within a couple of hours. Very helpful and receptive.

B&B Hotel Malts is in a very central location, close to the main square, shopping, restaurants and cafes. The room was pleasant comfortable and very clean with a good shower and private bathroom. Breakfast was excellent fresh eggs, granola fruit yoghurt, fresh breads, cold meats and cheese. Henk and Annemarie were great hosts, very hospitable, and helpful in guiding us on local sight-seeing highlights. Highly recommend this B&B.
