Decent location close to the main train station. Got a superior room which was excellent. Didn't bother with breakfast as i was either up and out before it started or getting back just before it started. However if you booked a day in advance you got it at a really good rate, probably half of what you would pay on the day. You could pick and choose the days too, which I thought was an excellent option. Rooftop bar was fantastic with a great view and an opportunity to meet great locals who stoped in after work. Veronica especially who sat and had another drink with me and listened to me waffle on about what I had done in Oslo for an hour or two before making her way home. Cocktails were the same cost as other classy establishments in the city 200 ish nok and beers were around average too. Used the sauna, which was good but didn't use the pool. It's hidden away up a tower staircase. Watched the football in the pizza restaurant on ground floor. Average price for beer compared to everywhere else but didn't eat there.
This central hotel is just 100 metres from the National Gallery and Oslo’s main shopping street, Karl Johans Gate. Free WiFi and a popular in-house restaurant is available.

Loved the clean room, excellent shower, convenient location and the fabulous breakfast! So many fresh foods not normally found on a hotel breakfast menu. We would return based purely on the breakfast! The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable.

Location was pretty good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was any trouble, whether advice on transport routes, tips for a day trip, food, etc.
We loved our stay at Forneblu! We highly recommend it for the easy access to town (direct bus close to the hotel that took around 25 mins), friendly staff, lovely walks near the water and the most delicious breakfast!

The hotel provided great accommodation, breakfast and service. But the location was isolated with no nearby services, shops or restaurants. If you enjoy the peace and quiet or have your own transport, this may be the hotel for you.
We stayed at this hotel passing through Oslo going further north in Norway. The hotel was just off our route to Bergen and a good choice. The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings with lots of green areas. The room was nice, clean and modern and served the purpose well just staying one night. It would also work for multiple nights, but for four people in a room, the bathroom was on the very small side. Traveling with teenagers we noted the Wi-Fi worked excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
From the moment we checked in our experience was fantastic.
The guy at reception was very nice and made us feel very welcome. The room is not huge, but perfect for us. The view from the room was amazing. Breakfast is another level with typical food ans plenty of options.
I cant comment on how easy it is to get to central Oslo as we were driving (10 minutes drive), so not sure about public transport in the area.
Overall great stay and would definitely recommend and stay again.
Spacious room with a small table and a sitting area. The bed is comfortable and is prepared with two pillow for each person. This is a nice amenity to have.
The hotel is located in a quiet zone distancing only 20 min. bus ride from the city centre.
The hotel is located in a quiet area just outside of the city center. We brought bikes and used the 'bike highway system' to our advantage. The museums (Kon-Tiki, Fram) are 20 minutes way, the opera 30. Both breakfast and dinner are fine.
Clean and modern property well located for events at telenor arena which is why we were there. Fornebu is the area previously occupied by the Airport in Oslo and is gradually being developed into a "mini city" of it's own.
It was so nice to stay and better than what I expected. My friend recommended this hotel to me. It was a good location, kind staff and good quality of breakfast as well. I will stay this hotel again when I visit Oslo.
Breakfast was awesome.
Staff was VERY polite. Loved the place and they had free bikes you could borrow and bike around the neighborhood.
Would come back here again.
Nice clean hotel, pet friendly. not in the center, but there is sufficient public transportation to take you into the city of Oslo. Breakfast is great!
