Hotel is very close to airport.
Hotel is very close to airport. The bus from the airport stops half block away. Convenient shuttle service from the hotel. The restaurant serves a good salmon dinner. The breakfast is included within the room price and it's very very good and plentiful with a lot of varieties! It's not too expensive, and it's so close to the Airport, Gardermoen, + transport from and to the airport , around 10 minutes each way, cheaper than a taxi good breakfast very early in the morning,start at 4am. A shuttle bus from the airport to the hotels around the airport. Very easy to get to Oslo by local trains. Turist routes. The Norwegian Armed Forces Aircraft Collection - a museum, check the openning hours in different seasons.

I've twice stayed at the Gardermoen Thon and I plan to stay twice in 2024, it's near Gardermoen Airport, the pilots and aircrew stay there, perfect overnight location for our onward trip to Northern Norway.

It was nice, and conveniently located near the airport, but entrance to the property was a little confusing on arrival. On site restaurant was definitely a plus - we were concerned we would be having vending machine food for dinner. Our dinner at the restaurant was very good. It had been raining pretty heavily that day and all the trains into town were out, meaning a two hour taxi wait for everyone. However, the Radisson Red was a quick four-minute walk away in a covered walkway! The room was very comfortable with a King Bed (kind of a luxury in Europe!). Fun electronic drawing pads for kids. The sauna had a lovely view. The shuttle bus S44 from bus stop 40, just outside the airport exit, departs every hour and a half. The downside is that you have to pay 80K per person.
