Lovely location on a promontory with great views of the fjord. Friendly receptionist/waiter. There were no other restaurants in the village so we ate at the hotel and dinner was fine, though limited choice. This was my second stay here and I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We were unaware that the whole area / hotel shuts down over the winter. We actually left a day early or we wouldn't have been able to catch our ferry! More info on website about this may have been helpful.

Great value for money. The rooms are are little dated but they are clean, comfortable, and are exactly what is needed. In addition the staff went above and beyond to help us when we had an early departure.
This property has both hotel rooms and cottages. The cottages are equipped with a full kitchen. WiFi is free for all guests. The Sognefjord is 5 minutes’ drive away.
