We were very happy with the location, cleanliness and staff at the hotel. The only issue we had was that the room was close to reception and a little noisy.
In the city centre, Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square is a 4.5 star, contemporary hotel, with city views in all rooms. It is walking distance from the Convention Centre and Hagley Park.

Probably the only good thing about the stay was that the bed was very comfortable, however the air-conditioning in the room could not be altered and was so loud I had to remove my card from the light slot to even be able to get to sleep! This of course invariably resulted in the room getting a bit stuffy - lose-lose situation.
Just a brief drive from Christchurch airport, Peppers Clearwater Resort provides an idyllic blend of classic New Zealand landscapes and the nearby bustle of a vibrant city.

Breakfast was good, we enjoyed it, however it would be nice if you could indicate what meat the sausages are. Not everyone has the same dietary requirements.
