Compliments to the staff who were on that day. I was tired with 3 kids and the booking was done by my son so we had some issues, but the staff were amazing 👏 🤩 absolutely 💯 👌 over and above. Well done to how they managed it.

Escape room at Confinement. Amazing walk around Hamilton Gardens - definitely worth a visit. Tamahere is a beautiful suburb with a great dessert bar - PoppyPeach.
Close for a drive out to Raglan and Bridal Veil Falls. Close enough to Rotorua too.

Every time we stop by we are always surprised by how much Hamilton has to offer. We really enjoyed the main streets along the river on the West and East banks, around the Waikato museum and the theatre currently under construction. Go visit Made on the East bank, great for food and local produce in a beautifully designed settings.

We like the room, easy to access with no worries about the key. Wifi was working, easy parking as well.
But no spoons only teaspoons and only two toilet rolls.
3 of us with 3 cups, 3 plates, 3 glasses, 3 sachet of coffee, tea and sugar. It was unusual to see that. Maybe we missed something that we were not prepared for.
Thank you, apart from that it was great to get out and about with the purpose of our visit.

Trying to find the places that we had to go to was interesting as we kept getting lost. I don't think Hamilton is very easy to get around. Went to the Hamilton Zoo really enjoyed it. We ate most of our meals at the Hamilton Workingmens Club which was very nice a great menu.

I didn't feel very safe. A lot of social housing tenants.
I didn't feel very safe. A lot of social housing tenants. Went for a walk and had to negotiate lots and lots of discarded supermarket trolleys just disbanded in the street . Such a pity for what could be a beautiful destination.
Hamilton Gardens. The purpose for the trip exceptional. Well worth the drive down from Auckland.

We went specifically to visit the Gardens.
We went specifically to visit the Gardens. These are so magnificent I would hate to think people could miss them. Having been told it would take us many hours, we were surprised that we were through leisurely in about 2 1/2 hours. We were lucky enough to be there for Balloons over Hamilton - great spectacle, and 2 perfect days!!
This is a great spot, close to the city. It's very private as you pretty much have your own wing of the house with your own kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, living room, and entry/exit separate to the main house. Everything is immaculate and very comfortable. Continental breakfast is a lovely touch. We haven't stayed in Hamilton before but this seems like very good value in comparison to other BnBs and hotels. Would happily stay again. Thanks so much for having us.
It felt like we were at home. The place was nice and quiet, away from the street. It had everything we needed. It was good to be able to make our own food and sleep somewhere that didn't feel like a hotel. The hosts live next door and are wonderful! Will definitely look this place up again next time I need a place to stay in Hamilton.
Honestly, just amazing all round. Superb staff from the hotel manager greeting you at reception and conversating, to bar/restaurant staff. Room was large, very comfortable bed and very nice amenities, all extremely clean. Restaurant food, while a small menu, was amazing. Best overnight stay I've had in Hamilton.
Didn’t take the breakfast as I was meeting friends at another hotel (Ibis). I’m sure it would have been great.
The central location and proximity to Paddy Mulligan’s excellent.
The car park offer and pricing exceptional and the welcoming staff a jewel.
Thank you for your hospitality
The staff are friendly yet professional. They were also very considerate of my request to a possibility of checking in early as we arrived in Hamilton earlier than usual check in time. Location is very convenient and the ambiance of the hotel overall is good.
Fantastic hotel located on the river and well within walking distance of several dining options. The room was incredibly comfortable as well. The hotel offers valet parking for an extra fee, which may be useful if you do not want to deal with street parking.
Good size room, and spotless. Place was immaculate, cleaner than some high end hotels I've stayed in. Location great in Hamilton East, on main road and close to bus routes, plenty of cafes within walking distance. CBD short bus/taxi ride away or is walkable.
Clean place, comfy bed, good internet, close to Hamilton garden which is the most interesting tourist attraction in Hamilton. Also good connection to the highways leading to Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves. So quite a convenient base for day trips there.
Breakfast was more than adequate for us. I love the quirky style of the dining area and the hotel generally. It's very comfortable and relaxing particularly being away from the central city.
