We had the whole place to ourselves! The only guests there. So super peaceful and quiet. Our room was amazingly spacious with two floors! Well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the water views.

We were travelling through Moeraki as part of a long road trip of the South Island, and this cute tiny stay appeared in the search. It's in a great location, has everything one would need, and best of all - there are two highland cows in a paddock right behind it. For some reason these became my favourite things on the NZ trip.

A very friendly, welcoming young lady greeted me on arrival. The room was lovely, large, and very clean. Comfortable bed. Loved the location - it was in a very tranquil setting. May not suit everyone as you need transport to drive to restaurants and shops. I stocked up in Oamaru before my stay. A very restful place to chill out. Take some reading material with you. TV reception?
