Our experience at Hana Lodge was absolutely incredible, from the fabulous staff and personalised customer service they offer to our gorgeous room and facilities available to us. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout and the in house dining experience was divine. The grounds are stunning and along with the Lodge there is such an enchanting feel about the place. We will be back in September and can't wait!!

Koura Lodge was located in such a gorgeous, peaceful spot on the lake. We were lucky to have perfect weather to enjoy the setting - plus having a sunset spa and sauna right by the lake was a big bonus. Our host was the most sweet and helpful lady, I adored her. The rooms were great, all the different breakfast options provided were simple and yet really tasty. My partner and I felt very well looked after.

This location was very nice. It was initially a bit difficult to locate, but once we found it we had no problem getting around the Rotorua area. You are right on the west shore of the lake, and you have wonderful sunrises to greet you in the morning. This is a premier location for anyone on a fishing trip. It is within a few meters of one of the best trout streams feeding into Lake Rotorua. The place is set up for that use, with a fish cleaning station outside of the living quarters. If you stay for more than two nights you can use the kayaks for free.
