This place was a great location to visit nearby Karamea and we loved the quietness of Little Wanganui. The beds were comfortable and the 2 bedroom cabin was cosy and colourful with its red kitchen, yellow duvet in the master bedroom and blue duvets in the bunk room. The shower had good pressure and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. There was a heater in the lounge and kitchen area which warmed up the cabin nicely. While the cabin was small it was a decent size for two adults, and one teen and one child. The outlook over the neighbouring farm was lovely.

Great character place. It was really handy having the bar and restaurant on site, delicious food! The fireplace was also very welcoming too! Lovely and clean with great comfy beds.

The property has a wow factor from its location and outstanding views as well as the modern layout and interior surrounded by lovely gardens. It was lovely being secluded and totally private. We used the hot tub in the garden, which was a lovely quirky addition and we enjoyed eating the vegetables that were ripe from the garden. The beds were comfortable and the downstairs shower was excellent. Beautiful, eco organic toiletries and other products were provided to ensure the septic tank works correctly. Be aware that as the property is off grid there is no dish washer, tumble dryer, TV or air conditioning, which was fine with us. Wifi connectivity was excellent.
