This place is incredible. My favourite spot was in the greenhouse while the sun was out - so peaceful, warm and beautifully styled. The house is so cosy, with lovely bush views. Everything you could need is there. The decor is so stylish and really calming, with possibly the most beautiful bathroom I've ever used and I loved the electronic blinds too. A fabulous stay, and I can't wait to go back.

Used Lower Hutt accommodation as was attending an event in Porirua and facilities there were booked out a year earlier. Did not experience Lower Hutt at all apart from somewhere to stay and travel to and from.

Petone has a great shopping area on Jackson St and surrounds, with some quirky boutique shops. In particular, I recommend their excellent op shops for quality second hand goods. There are multiple good dining options here, including excellent cafés. We tried "Caffiend", which has excellent coffee.

Was visiting family for Christmas.
Was visiting family for Christmas. Lower Hutt is easy, grew up there. Had dinner twice at Simply Grill Kitchen in Petone, very nice. Would recommend Lower Hutt or Petone for accommodation as very easy to travel into the city - time/distance wise, but accommodation options are probably easier and better value for money 'out the Hutt'

This Hotel is in Petone which has many eateries and shops at the doorstep. Amazing and different sort of shopping. Busy little place. Walk from Hotel to the waterfront which you get to overlook Wellington. I loved to position of the place. Would definitely stay again.
Having never been to Lower Hutt before (my son moved there last year) I was not exactly sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The location was excellent (for me anyway as my son lives about two blocks away). I can't say the convenience would have been good for someone needing to be somewhere else though.
it’s proximity ,and direct and easy access to the ferries ,without having to go into the centre of Wellington.Very comfortable recliner chair and a good bed,at the end of a long day travelling.we’ve seated 3 times now and will continue to do so,as we travel Interisland. Also only a k or so away are a myriad of restaurants.
Nice hotel, good location, very friendly staff! The rooms are decent, clean, smartly appointed, and have some recent updates. The bathroom was clean. Very easy to walk to major sights in the area and lots of restaurants. I would definitely recommend the location as it is close to most attractions.
Cute little area outside of Wellington with new rooms and very comfortable accommodations. Had a first floor room with sliding door overlooking a residential neighborhood. Nice complimentary washer/dryer was a great surprise. Located well for ferry to the South Island in the AM.
Stayed at the boulcott lodge before a concert in Lower Hutt. The room was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Love how the rooms are set up and there were a few of our group staying there and we all got neighbouring rooms. Such a nice place.
this place was amazing!! Absolutely beautiful inside and out, very well equipped and had absolutely anything you could ask for. Next time I'm staying in Wellington, this will be one of the first places I look for when arranging accomodation
Loved the rural location. Every detail had been thought of. Super generous hosts that provided way more than other accommodation providers. I would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the Lower Hutt area
clean, comfortable and quiet accommodation with plenty of local dining options. Also just out of Wellington CBD but easy driving access to there and all surrounding areas for business. Great wifi too.
The host was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and there was access to a spacious kitchen and seating area. The breakfast was excellent. A great view across the bay to Wellington.
The restaurant meal was superb. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel smelt very nice. The light music that was playing was a lovely touch. The rooms were well laid out.
