Stunning location in a lovely rural setting.
Stunning location in a lovely rural setting. Abundance of wild birds in a beautiful garden setting containg fruit orchards. A very relaxing B & B where the hosts have added so many little extra touches eg chocolates beside the bed, M&Ms, good selection of teas. There is a pub about 2 miles away which serves stunning renowned beef burgers. Jill and Peter were wonderful hosts. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Owls Rest!derekUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
Mainly a family stay if you have young children.
Mainly a family stay if you have young children. It's a good location if you want to do some miles after the ferry. But next time I'd probably choose Havelock which is much brighter with food options.

She made me a hot chocolate to warm me up after I came in from the rain and Pete drove me to dinner at the local pub. The room was comfortable and cozy.
