I travel for work and stay in motel after motel. It was a lovely experience staying with such a wonderful host(s) in a more ‘homely’ environment. The breakfast was absolutely stunning and the facilities were like a 5star resort.

The owners are lovely and friendly, the rooms were a good size and comfortable. The living space I didn't expect but was really useful and the breakfast was perfectly acceptable.

This farmstay was perfect for a cosy, picturesque short-term stay. We'd definitely stay here again. I recommend it for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing place that's simple yet tastefully decorated to capture that cottage look.
Hosts were friendly and responsive to messages. View was stunning. Bed was super comfy, room was surprisingly warm (wore summer sleepwear despite it being autumn) and the heater worked well. If more food space is needed, kitchen bench folds out and the towel stand holds it up at the right height. Outdoor bath was a treat. Bit of car noise during the day as expected but it's quiet at night.
Unless you bring a portable gas cooker, you may buy food out a lot because there's no heating facilities for cooking. If it rained, it'd be less pleasant because the outdoor dining is not sheltered and there's only one chair inside. These aren't negatives because this info is stated/shown in the accommodation description/photos, but they are things to consider if choosing this place to stay.
Harbour Heights offers bed and breakfast accommodation on the beautiful peninsular of Omokoroa in Tauranga. Free WiFi is provided and free private parking is available on site.

We were welcomed and made to feel at home. Our bikes were stored and locked away in a garage. Very private, quiet with a fabulous courtyard for evening relaxing.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the The Orchard; the hosts Maggie and Chris were extremely welcoming and the unit itself was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was great and the bonus tour of the orchard was fantastic. We now have an appreciation of avocado growers - and can now identify the different types of avocados we see in the supermarket!!
It's beautiful but no diversity. The locals definitely treat you like a foreigner. We got racial slurs from the local youth, some of the local shops didnt carry eftpos machines. There weren't too many decent food options other than pub food, sushi and pizza. Stand out was definitely the lack of diversity and tolerance for non white people.

It is a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea , I would definitely stay here again as I believe the beach is lovely too , not far from the black walnut wedding venue ( 6 km much better than staying in Tauranga )
We ate at the Pizzaria ( avoid the boat club )
Abrakebabrah in Tauranga has been a fabulous favourite of ours for 10 years and never disappoints.
