The location is in central Christchurch and fitted the need to go to the conference centre at Te Pae conference centre. The food at breakfast was exceptional. The room met my needs. The bed was a double and made every morning and has a large TV which you can chromecast to. The staff were very helpful and arranged for me to have extra hot chocolate pouches.

Location is perfect and within walking distance to bars and restaurants and the local sightseeing. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely, we had a great view of the "improving" cathedral but no outside noise at all. We requested rooms close to each other and were given opposite which was perfect. Our stay at the hotel was fantastic from start to finish. We received a lovely welcome dessert on arrival as it was our honeymoon; the room was fantastic in terms of facilities and overall quality/comfort; the nearby gym and complimentary on-site laundry were a great convenience; and the food in the restaurant was also great. Most importantly, the reception manager Abhishek saved our day by helping to defrost our car so we could get to the train station on time, and was good-humoured even while we were very stressed. A top-class hotel all round!
