Yes, it is indeed a standard 20-ft-shipping-container you are staying in. We were well aware and very curious about how it had been adapted (inside and out). In this particular container (painted in bold dark colours) there was a kitchenette on the left, a bed in the middle, and at the end, separated via a sliding door, a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Outside: This container had a large deck attached to it with an outdoor bath and a lovely semi-private (enclosed by plants) garden area. Parking was directly next to the entrance, very handy.
We arrived late - which was a non-issue, thankfully, as we could just pick up the key from a box at the reception. There we met a lovely lady there who explained where we had to go (not sure if she was one of the owners).
It was a cold evening, so thankfully there was an electric radiator in the container with which we could heat up the place very nicely, although it took some time. An additional blanket was also being provided because during the night it got quite cold. The Holiday Park is located directly at the sea and especially this container, like literally a stone's throw away.

Breakfast was great. This is possibly the cleanest place we have stayed in! The room was immaculate with beautiful hand crafted bespoke furniture. Susan and Den are amazing hosts and meeting them was a highlight of our trip. They work hard to create the perfect stay for their guests. The location was quiet and pretty. The Woodstock Pub has fantastic meals. Should we ever return to the West Coast, this would be our go to accommodation and we will be recommending it to our friends, family and fellow travellers.

Biggest hotel in town. Close the the supermarket and beach. Room was pretty quiet and there was a lower pillow so I didn’t have to sleep on a bath towel! Stunning sunset view at the beach.

Ross is a lovely small town. Its quiet and relaxed and the Top Ten Holiday park is even more quiet and relaxed. We enjoyed a fire on the beach and relaxing walks in the surrounding area. The museum was very interesting and its close to a lot of other really neat places on the west coast.

We enjoyed the evenings watching the sunsets.
There is plenty in the area to do and see
To top it all off, we had a great New Years eve with others from the camp.
We gathered on the beach, lit fires with the driftwood on the beach & toasted marshmellows and saw the NY in with fireworks.
