I loved how organized they were to have my room cozy and warm and key ready for when I was arriving late. Super duper cool I could bring my dogs and the bed is cozy, everything clean and just a beautiful place. I want to come back. I fell in love with this place. So peaceful and quiet. A beautiful lodge near a lovely lake. The accomodation was exceptional. Amazing views, comfortable beds and a superbly styled dining, lounge area (with fireplace) and deck overlooking the lake. The highlight (apart from all this!) was probably the breakfast. A range of fresh fruit and cereals, yoghurt and jams with a cooked breakfast of your choice. All beautifully presented. Leigh and Mike and their gorgeous little poodle were very accomodating hosts. Only a short drive from town, we were thrilled with our choice for exploring the Rotorua area.
