The size of the studio was great for our family of four,much bigger than it looked in photos and bigger than many motel units I have stayed in. The bathroom was awesome. I loved the huge spa bath and shower. We will return again when we are back in Christchurch.

Superb breakfast each morning and beautiful evening meals. Martin and Verity were fabulous, interesting hosts and made us feel very comfortable. Enjoyed our evening chats with them. Stunning location and enjoyed viewing all of Veritys beautiful artwork.

We booked his place for 5days! The house is lovely and has a character. We love that "its your home in Christchurch" the feeling of being at home, with all the things you need - kitchen, a functional washer and dryer, the comfiest big bed with lots of pilllows, a room heater, a smart tv with netflix, a shared/private bathroom thats clean, a private parking space and he provided daily free breakfast! choose from bread, spreads, eggs etc.
His place is easily accessible by bus (Metro and Orbiter). We love walking and we walked from his house to the City Centre in 30- 45mins while traversing the Avon River. Took uber to Airport cost just $40
We even saw the rare phenomenon Aurora Australis in his place!!! Such a remarkable.experience!
