It was very nice stay. The hotel was neat and clean.
Tha staff's were friends. It is very good location near to the souq and the Nizwa fort which is at walkable distance and can witness Omani traditional dance and dramas.
The food in the Turkish restaurant just below the hotel was very good.

Nizwa is a lovely city with lots to see however it is also central to many other towns and sights within easy drives. The highlight for me is the Friday goat market and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Nizwa.

Nizwa is a beautiful little town you need to stop by if you are venturing around in Oman. The Nizwa fort is a must. I learned a lot about the country and Nizwa by walking around and seeing the exhibition and everything else. Also in Nizwa, you have a small and cute souq. I found the prices in Nizwa lower than in Muscat, especially the saffron. If you plan on going to Muscat after Nizwa, I would also recommend buying a scarf there. I also loved the fruit market where I got to taste Halwa in different styles (something I wouldn't have dared try at a restaurant) and just the smells and atmosphere were incredible.

True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf.
True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf. Citadel is worth it and well preserved. Old souks are also real. It is a nice hub to visit the area and fort around it in Hamra, Bahla and even to go to Jabal Akhdar. strongly recommend one of the charming hotels inside the old city. Problem with Niza (like much of Oman) is that outside of nature activities, there is not much to do. no good restaurants, festivals, concerts, or places to go out to.

Very nice city, souq, castle, fort and mosque all close one to each other, so really convenient to visit them together. A lot of restaurants, bars and amenities. Qaboos mosque 10mins far from city center, it needs a car to be reached.

people ale super nice. they were talking to us, waving, asking if we are happy here and wishing us good stay. beautiful old town, gorgeous old buildings. amazing and not so priced food. in central souq prices are high, but if you go to eastern souq you can meet nice people and buy good things in great prices! there’s drinkable water on the streets for free. lots of plants in whole city. unlike many big cities, Nizwa is very walkable, you don’t need a car or taxi to explore it. highly recommended:)

Nizwa is a small yet beautiful town located at an hour and a half drive from Muscat. Drive from Muscat to Nizwa and back has breathtaking views especially during winters and people are friendly.
Trip to Nizwa Souq is a must and drive around the city is enjoyable too. Souq offers the opportunity to experience the culture and heritage of Oman and Antique shops are amazing.
For those going to Jebel Akhdar, its just 35 - 40 kms from Nizwa, depending on which part of the town you are in.
It can be just a day trip for those travelling from Muscat or a weekend retreat if someone is looking for a small break.
Overall really worth a visit.
The hotel is an heritage house transformed in inn. It’s charming and a quiet oasis detached from the streets around. Clean, tidy, nicely decorated and comfortable.
Simple but good breakfast, nice pool overlooking the ruins of the old town, big parking space.
All in all great place in the heart of Nizwa.
(Just FYI: don’t follow Google maps to go there: it’s misleading! Just enter the main gate of the city and follow the street signs)
The hotel was very nice, very well located just outside Nizwa. The swimming pool is fabulous and welcome after a day in the heat. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. We had dinner there, it was bbq night and it was one of the best meal we've had in Oman. The concierge was very helpful and managed to organised a guide for us to take us around at the last minute.
Really nice hotel, an old family house that still has a cozy atmosphere.
The staff are really nice people, always wanting to give the best service and they introduced me to some omani sweets.
Location is good in Nizwa, right next to the Souq and in the small streets of the old town.
They offer breakfast as well and were very nice and made it special for my needs.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, free omani coffee and dates, clean and spacious room ( incl. Fridge, small table, 2 chairs, 1 bar chair) comfortable bed, great value for money, parking in front of hotel available. Lulu hypermarket around the corner (carrefour as well), and recommendation for coffee: Fusil coffee shop behind Lulu.
The location of the hotel is an advantage to the tourist. It’s just 5 minutes from Nizwa fort and Nizwa transitional market. The room is very wide and comfortable with a full size bed in the bedroom, setting area in the living room and a kitchenette. My family enjoyed the stay.
I loved the design of this hotel and the feeling of living in old Omani house.
The location of the hotel is great for who wants to explore the old city. Just 1 minute away from the Nizva fort.
The guy who helped us to check in was very friendly. Thanks to him.
What a terrific hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room a good size and with excellent facilities, the pool lovely, the restaurant food good and a decent price. I was surprised to see alcohol was available and at a good price for Oman.
Very clean room. We loved it. Staff very helpful and friendly big apartment with lots of space. We would certainly stay again. They gave us perfect information about trips and also about the new museum Oman across ages which is a must
Beautiful stay in Nizwa with a real Omani feel. The room was cosy, comfortable and beautifully styled. The sunrise and sunset view from the rooftop terrace was gorgeous. Breakfast was good and also the pool setting was really cool.
-Very centrally located hotel in Nizwa with great access to the fort, mosque and souq.
-Room is outfit very well - good bathroom, nice kitchen area, multiple sitting options
-Can walk up to the roof for a view over old Nizwa
Amazing location! In the very heart of Nizwa old town. Probably you won’t be able to find any better. Lovely rooms and garden. And the host was very helpful. He spent some time with us telling us about the history of Oman.
The receptionist was very charming even though it is a small hotel he kept his professionalism and very warm hospitality
These days it is very difficult to find this kind of omanis
Keep up the good work
On site parking available and easy access to Nizwa Souq (about 8 min walk). There is an authentic Omani low seating area in the room, which is very cute. Breakfast under the palm tree terrace.
the location was perfects, near to nizwa souq and fort. it takes like 10 minutes walking to these places. the wi-fi’s connection was 10/10. the hot water was available 7/24.
Amazing hotel with the friendliest staff in the quaint old section of nizwa town. I especially loved the rooftop area to relax in with my book when the sun went down.
