Hotel Palma Royale, hotel in Bluff Beach

Hotel Palma Royale is located on the main street of Bocas town, on Colon Island. The property offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and garden or sea views.

I stay here a couple of times a month. The front desk staff are always fantastic and accommodating. The breakfast is always delicious. I usually stay in the same room and enjoy the familiarity of it. During my last stay I was upgraded to their luxury suite. It was perfect. The kitchen is equipped with some of the basics, and has a full size fridge. The AC and hot water worked perfectly. The bathroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Any issues I've ever had in the past were handled immediately and usually resolved quickly. Definitely bring up anything to the front desk staff during your stay and they will help you right away. There were no issues during this visit. They are also happy to store your luggage prior to the room being available.

Divers Paradise Boutique Hotel, hotel in Bluff Beach

Divers Paradise Boutique Hotel features a terrace, bar and on-site dining in Bocas Town. With free WiFi, this hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy sea views.

We had a lovely few days at Divers' Paradise and would heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Bocas. The room was well appointed and clean. Location excellent (5-10m walk from the water taxi stop, 10m to the main strip, 15m walk to the airport). Great food and service at the restaurant. Sadly didn't have time to dive, but they seemed very well managed (staff, equipment, etc) and I hope to dive with them in the future.

Bluff Beach is a bit out of the way and very quiet.

Bluff Beach is a bit out of the way and very quiet. It is a surf beach and has a strong rip tide so not recommended for swimming. But it is great for walking and for seeing wildlife and birds. There are a couple of really good restaurants at Bluff, plus a couple of beach bars. The bus runs regularly from Bocas to Bluff and back. There's a schedule but generally the bus comes when it comes and you need patience. There are always a few taxis around which are more expensive but can get you there faster. We enjoyed the tranquility. There are lots of surfers but also a few other independent travelers and families.

Bluff beach was the most wonderful beach we spent time at on Bocas del Toros. It feels slightly remote but incredibly liberating as it stretches on for miles-no chance of overcrowding. There are buses running from the centre of Bocas and they drop you at the beach bar (highly recommended). We had a brilliant meal at The Hummingbird and heard exceptional reviews of Island Plantation as well.

Oasis bluff was a magical experience.

Oasis bluff was a magical experience. The attention to detail by the owners and their staff was more than we could have ever wanted. The kindness and warmth of all contributed to our five star stay. All the amazing food, and coordination of our daily adventures combined with the beautiful beach and ocean breeze made this vacation relaxing and recharge. I have been telling all my friends and family . Hope to return again.
