This trip was not comparable to any other experience we did in Panama. The island was really perfect for some days of rest on another level. The water could not have been nicer, the sand was white as you would dream of the most beautiful island.
The stuff was really kind. Food was delicious and authentic. We were even able to visit a native community which organises the tourism on this island.
Although the price especially for transport is quite high, we would definitely recommend!
Featuring a restaurant, Cabañas Narasgandup (Naranjo Chico) features accommodation in Mamartupo.

We liked the people who welcomed us most kindly and who did everything to make our stay absolutely wonderful. It was an honour for us that the Kuna Yala let us stay on their island. Every day we were served fresh food directly from the ocean. They also organized trips for us to other islands on a daily basis. Our hut was on the water on pillars and we could watch fish from our verandah. Of course, the place with its beautiful sandy beach is kind of isolated but that was what we were looking for.
Offering sea views, Gunayar amazing in Arritupo Número Dos offers accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a bar. For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra...

This was a fantastic getaway. There are about 12 huts on the island. They have a bare metal frame bed, sand floor, one outlet and a bulb for light. The sand on the beach was lovely, and the water was nice. The sand going into the water was nice in spots and rocky elsewhere. It is a small Island, so if you are going for a walk, you are doing circuits around the island.
What was appealing for me was that three meals a day were provided, so I didn't have to forage for food. The food was good, and you ate in a common area, so it was easy to connect with the other travellers.
I arranged for a boat to get to the island, which cost $60 in return for the two of us. The ferry desk wanted $100, and I got the better deal by speaking directly with one of the boaters.
Discovery Gunayar is situated in Waisalatupo. An American, vegetarian or vegan breakfast is available each morning at the property.

Beautiful tiny Island (600 meters around), food is most of times very tasty (3 meals per day included). People are very lovely, but give them some time to open up. Very nice snorkeling trips (not included!).
