We stayed here from May13-15,2024 .The Clealinest is Superb. Everywhere in the hotel was absolutely fantastic super clean. Bed is comfortable They're even have hot water in the shower. The breakfast is Excellent. Very generous serving with different selection of food everyday. The Staff is so friendly and very accommodating. They give 100% customer service. This hotel is 2Star** hotel but the service is for 5Star* This hotel should level up to 5*. The location is excellent too. The area has a lot shops restaurants and even drugs stores. 10mins to SM Mall Bicol via a tricycle (public transport) I would be happy to recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Legaspi Albay Bicol.

Our favorite overnight stop over on the way to Sorsogon. Malls, groceries and the Mayon activities are just what we always wanted. Internet and banks are almost anywhere, if there is a need of emergency business needs.

Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt. Mayon but unfortunately it was raining hard when we got up there, the volcano is not visible.
Sumlang lake is a good place to go as the volcano is it’s backdrop.
There’s a lot of big malls if you’re into shopping.
Restaurants and hospitals abound in every location.
Transportation is no problem at all as you can call cabs via phone or online. Public jeepneys can get you from point A to point B.

Check the weather map so that you increase your chances of getting a full view of Mayon Volcano. Do consider booking properties outside Legaspi (Daraga) The tourists attractions are all near Daraga. (less traffic), however all the nice places to eat are in Legaspi.

The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax. Guests should be equipped to deal with the weather. The Mayon can be viewed everywhere! Try the Hoyop hoyopan cave, and their spicy pinangat. Pasalubong are abaca bags, sili keychains, pili nut near the old riles (train tracks).

My first time in Legazpi was great because we had planned a food tour with GuidetothePhilippines.ph.com. Other than that we had not plan. We were able to walk around and even take a jeepney. People are friendly and helpful. The view of Mt. Mayon on a clear day is unbeatable and breathtaking.

Nice enough city on the bay with the stunning perfect cone of the Mayon volcano as a backdrop.
Needs improvement - the new SM is a start - but needs infrastructure investment big time. International airport for Bicol region - lots of places to visit and explore.
It’s clean and comfortable beds and the room was so spacious. We had two single beds and it was just perfect. It gave a homey feel even if the room was so big, there was still coziness. There was hot shower which we really loved and the bathroom was very neat. If not for our schedule we would’ve stayed longer to witness Mayon from there. We’re definitely going back to P&B the next time we’re in Legazpi!
Areca is a new Hotel in the center of Legazpi City Old Albay district. We booked the suite which is very spacious and has a separate bed room. The room was clean and well equiped with a big bathroom. The restaurant within the hotel had good food. And the coffee shop / bar in the same building is conveniently located for a nightcap. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.
The host is very accommodating, hospitable and approachable.
The facilities, room, bed linens and towels are crisp and clean.
The building/hostel itself is away from the city noise. We had a good night rest during our stay.
The location is in the heart of the city, very near to banks, restaurants, a few km away from the Cagsawa Ruins and some tourist spots in the area.
The price is good and there's a good rate for the price. The place is not so far from SM mall taking a tricycle. Of course, for this price we cannot expect perfection, but the price is okay for what you have. If you're looking for a cheap hotel to stay for a short time, it's okay, but if you have bigger expectations maybe it will not be the right place.
This guesthouse is a wonderful and so quiet place in the center of Legazpi City. The room was spacious, very clean. The staff was amazing and we could enjoy so much the beauty of Balai Tinay. Many nice restaurants are walking distance from the guesthouse, that's a bonus.
Location - near SM City Legazpi where a transportation terminal is also located if you want to travel to other nearby municipalities, free airport shuttle, breakfast (would have been nicer if a coffee/hot choco is included), pleasant staff
The location is close to everything. The staff were very accommodating and welcomed us warmly. The room was very clean and well-appointed. Breakfast were of generous portions and tasted great. The overall vibe of the hotel is very homey.
i liked the convenience of the hotel to get to key locations like colonial grill and bigg's diner, small talk cafe. as a solo traveller who DIY'd everything i must say this has to be the single
most perfect location in whole of legazpi.
The room was definitely clean, organized, and cozy to stay in after a tiring day outside exploring the city. There were also two comfort rooms so it was convenient for our 3-member family. The best part was the small veranda outside!
Great location, away from the main road. Very nice staff. Not expensive.

It’s in a quiet neighborhood and very close to J. P. Rizal Ave. which is a main thoroughfare in Legazpi City. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Beds are comfortable too.
