This may have been the nicest place we stayed in in the Philippines, the bathroom was a relaxing escape in nature, the balcony was lovely and the room was nice and comfortable. Idyllic and quiet location set right on the river. The staff were so nice and attentive, they helped with anything and recommended places for us to visit on the island, which proved to be the best experiences we had on our trip. Worth noting this property is near to the Lila whale sharks, and a 40 minutes scooter to the chocolate hills.
Sitting on the banks of the Loboc River, the Loboc River Resort offers rooms that combine wood and local materials with modern comforts. It features a restaurant, bar, and souvenir shop.

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit!
I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

Loboc is a very small town so two nights at the fox and firefly was perfect for us. There’s lots to do- we did Stand up paddle boarding, firefly watching, Tarsiers, Twin hanging bridge, mountain biking, Loboc eco adventure park where we zip lined and did the cable car and lots of exploring! We ate at the Fox and Firefly breakfast, lunch and dinner- the food is amazing!!! We used our moped to travel around, without this you would need a driver.

The place have a beautiful river.
The place have a beautiful river. Stand-up puddling is definitely “must to do”: you’re just in the middle of a jungle river, it’s calm and silent, you can only hear the sound of birds, light noise of the palm leaves in case of a wind blow and water splashes, when your paddle touches it’s surface. You’re in the very heart of island’s nature beauty, it’s all just around you!

Lots of tourist. As usual, Loboc River was mesmerizing. My nth time already with the River Cruise. I wish they will set up more eco-friendly attractions like nature train to see the mini waterfalls along the river

Great place to stay and chill.
Great place to stay and chill. Loboc river is very beautiful and calming to travelers especially when you try the river cruise (we got to rent a boat to ourselves). It has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, places to eat, activities to try and many more. Travelling here is totally worth it!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Water to Forest Ecolodge. The room was very clean and spacious, as was the common area. But beware of the mosquitoes, there were many, especially in the evenings. The staff was so nice, friendly, helpful and always smiling. The food is delicious. We also rented a scooter for two days. After checking out we were allowed to leave our luggage there and they even organized our transfer to our next hotel on Panglao Island.
Stayed in the Suite Room with a view. The room was very cool even though there was no AC, fan only. Very comfy bed. The jungle themed bathrooms were the best. Everyone was super helpful, nice, and patient. The food is delicious with vegan options. There is a great platform right on the river, perfect for relaxing. Cute Pomeranians running around. Finally, we did the SUP firefly tour. Highly recommend - just be prepared to paddle for an hour.
The staff, always with a big smile and ready to help. If you have the chance to book the suite cottage with a view, do it! Absolutely worth it.
I liked the yoga shala that you could use and all the props. The delicious food they serve at the restaurant (there are not many options nearby).
The relaxing area in front of the river where you can go for a swim.
For us it was the perfect place to explore Bohol in a green and calm area.
this was something we didnt expect. first visitors after covid and typhoon. The owners was such an ingredibly nice and helpful. girls got us recommedations, call taxi for us, we were chating with them, it was really plesure to stay there. And also we really would like to support them after long time. Guys, please, go to this hotel. They had hard time during covid and after the typhoon. Lets get Loboc rise and shine again.
I loved everything about this property. In fact, my entire trip to the Philippines was planned around this one resort stay for three days. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The staff was superb, and the food was amazing at the restaurant I booked two excursions with Troy, paddle boarding with fireflies and paddle boarding the river. He was exceptional. I also had a massage as well, which was outstanding.
Very friendly and helpful staff! They answered all our questions and helped us arrange a cheap car to get around the area. They even recommended a route that we should take. Free water refills. Nice pool area. Slides into the river which is super fun. The food is really tasty and reasonably priced. Good breakfast. Nice location overlooking the river, walking distance to the town. Reasonably priced!
A lovely small hotel hidden away on the riverside. We had a clean and comfortable room overlooking the river. The staff were exceptional and really friendly. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and drinks with lots of choice. Perfectly placed for the chocolate hills tour, only 45 min drive away and really close to the floating restaurant which was fantastic.
The resort is located right on the river Loboc. It is a basic accommodation (if you want more space take the family room), but what makes it a good choice is the staff. Staff is really friendly and going out of their way to provide you immediately with whatever transportation/tours/activities you wish and very very friendly.
A wonderful experience, falling asleep to the sound of the Loboc River and the jungle. We only had one night but we made the most of it swimming in the river, playing ping pong on the deck and we had the best massage ever. The staff were so caring, friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.
The property was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great since it was a little away from the centre of the town so it was quieter but close enough to walk to the river cruises and restaurants. We loved our balcony that faced the rice fields!
This was a locally owned resort with 35 rooms at the Loboc river. The resort area offers swimming pools, fishing pond, an ape island and outdoor areas for relaxing and massage. They also firefly watching by boat and excursions on the Bohol Island.
Being surrounded by nature and a beautiful river. The huts are open and in the morning you can hear the animals in the trees when you wake up. Very cool place and a must visit if you plan a trip to Bohol. The people are very helpful and friendly.
Thanks for the great authentic experience. We had such a great time in the jungle as well as swimming in the river. Property and staff were amazing and we strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to disconnect and experience Bohol
The view is spectacular. The staff and the service are outstanding. Located very close to zip lining, the tarsier, conservatory, and Loboc river cruise.
