We did not stay in this place due to typhoon and unpassable...
We did not stay in this place due to typhoon and unpassable roads - plus the possibility of being stranded. We immediately communicated to the owner and said he'd only do a refund if we'd give them a good review. He asked us to not disclose this to Booking and was asking for our bank details. We don't like this kind of transaction as this does not align with our values. We were forced to communicate to Booking customer service due to this. They assured us to be refunded once the owner has approved it as this is due to "fortuitous events". Owner did not refund us because of this. We don't like these kind of transactions as we've booked legally and with integrity! The owner is even sending us messages saying that we went behind their backs but this is not true as we've messaged them before we communicated to Booking.com customer service. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
