Our visit in Vigan brings back the nostalgic of the time I left Manila. It has been 33 years ago when we last visited Manila and did not have the time to deeply explore our mother land. Now, I can share the experienced that my wife and I had to our children and grandchildren when we get back to the State. They will definitely would want to come back to Manila and visit Vigan, the best place ever in Manila!!!

Close to the city and historical Road. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. We were asked to upgrade our room for 1000 pesos so we got a king size bed and balcony. Worth it. Clean room and bathroom. Got our breakfast delivered to our room and enjoyed it on the balcony.

I like Vigan for it's old world appeal especially at the very popular Calle Crisologo. I also like the friendliness of the people, the amazing plazas and the choices of restaurants available. Vigan has its own very unique charm and despite not being as modern as some of the more developed cities in the Philippines, it is just as, if not more interesting. This is definitely a place I would like to visit again.

Beautiful and historic. Very friendly people. Getting around is fairly easy. We took the Kalesa to tour the city. Really need to plan where to eat at early since most places close early enough. 1995 Studio Cafe is a great place for tea, coffee, smoothie and some food.

Calle Crisologo itself is beautiful and a great spot to take pictures especially at night, but beyond it there's not much to see and do. A one-day visit is enough, IMHO, as there are many more things to see and do around Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte.

Vigan is a lovely city with old world charm.
Vigan is a lovely city with old world charm. Uncharacteristically it is not crowded unlike much of the Philippines. The beaches are good, the old city is fun to explore and its one of the few places in Philippines where I wasn't stressed driving as there is little traffic, and so easy to get around. One of the cleanest places I have seen. Vigan take pride in their streets and surroundings and don't litter.

Great food, a lot of attractions within walking distance of each other, Calle Crisologo and the Cathedral are always a great idea, especially at night.
Must try eats: Irene's Vigan Empanada, Cafe Bigaa, Cafe Leona, Calle Brewery
Pasalubong: Irma's Longganisa and Bagnet, Tongson's Bibingka, Senorita Dulce
Spent one night on our way back from Ilocos Norte! Was so pleaseing to enter such clean comfortable accomodation after our less than adequate stay there! The vigan Transverse hotel
Is pergectly positioned 5 mins walk from city centre but still in a quite backwater. Rooms were super clean comfortable and staff welcoming. Air con was super efficient.
Breakfast was very substantial and tastey in their modern coffee shop.
Wish we had time to stay longer
Would unhesitateingly reccommend Vigan Transverse Hotel as a first choice in Vigan.
I highly recommend this place for a family.
*room is clean
*comfty bed
*A.C is working and cold
*place have there own convenience store until 10pm
*room have a kettle, mug and toiletries
7 minutes drive going to vigan market, calle crisologo and all vigan landmarks.

This place is right where the action is in calle crisologo! You will wake up hearing the sound of kalesa. It will def bring you back in history! The photos, mirrors, beds, doors, windows - almost everything were preserved. The staff is sooo accomodating! Very respectful and willing to help all the time!
If you are looking for the best experience in Vigan- I highly recommend this place!
Great food and service by the staff. Despite the bad weather, they made us feel comfortable in the room that we stayed in by going the extra mile of delivering our food in our unit.
The hotel was also great. We are aware that they are doing further improvements of the hotel which is exceptional because the hotel is already excellent.
The hotel has a lovely classic design. The rooms are also clean and comfortable. Bathroom has hot & cold shower, and toilet has handheld bidet. We enjoyed our breakfast as the food combination tastes great. Menu also changes up daily. Staff is friendly, courteous and handles requests promptly. Overall good value stay for your money.
Great location in old town Vigan. The hotel building itself is just about 200 years old with a great history. Located on a street with all buildings 200 years old, much history there. Good horse buggy rides were 1/2 block from hotel. Staff at hotel was superb with any request and area information supplied freely.
We really like the buffet breakfast, there are many food choices and unlimited coffee and iced tea. Likewise, it is great to have a canteen (Cantina Mercante) in the hotel for it provides convenience and options for the guests to look for any available lunch or dinner after a tour of the city.
The location is perfect as it is at the heart of the town centre. The accommodation is just a 10-15 minute walk away from Calle Crisologo and other tourist attractions in Vigan. It is also close to restaurants and shops so one need not worry if they need to get stuff late at night.
The hotel was the house of an important 18th century local personality. The hotel is an old Spanish style mansion, walking the corridor give you the old world atmosphere. The ground floor breakfast room is also traditional Spanish colonial.
Vigan Traversa Hotel is a perfect place to stay in Vigan. It is within the city center and walking distance to all destinations. The breakfast is good too since they have their own cafe. It's highly recommended!
Very near Calle Crisologo. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs. Safe parking, very affordable, and I can say we got more than our money’s worth. Highly recommended!
Its accessible. Though some of the staff acted mechanically, our short stay was fine. . Would use the same establishment should there be a need for me to stay overnight in Vigan City 👍
Away from the noise of the beautiful but busy Vigan City.
