The location and the view during breakfast - overlooking the lake - this was great. The staff had waited for me in spite of the late arrival and was very friendly.

I stayed at the location pretty much the whole time.
I stayed at the location pretty much the whole time. You can take superb long walks through the forest, perhaps fish at a nearby lake. Riding is very possible, make contact with the owner in advance, if not, she has a carriage. I ate with the owner, her husband and estate workers. With no access to a kitchen for preparing your own food, you need to go off site to a restaurant and for this would definitely need a car. I paid for a package to eat lunch, breakfast and dinner with the owner, this was mixed value for money but a fantastic, flavourful experience and much better than sitting on my own to eat. You need your own transport at this location. Solo travellers will love it here, I did!
