The location was very relaxing and beautiful waking up to this oceanfront beach apartment. The ladies in the office were all very polite and generous - she did mention no breakfast but she does keep some coffee and some cookies available.

Outstanding everything!
First, the apt. is incredibly well appointed; it is full of both design and comfort details (including all appliances, water, snacks, beach towels and mats, personal care items, proper desk). Quiet, efficient aircon, good lighting, a lovely large balcony with seating and plants, security. Tasteful and beach stylying decoration, too.
Secondly - Clean, comfortable and a brilliant location near the beach, services and super eating options, it has it all.
Maria, the owner, was one of the most considerate hosts we've ever experienced across all stays, worldwide, making it to our top 3.

Suprisingly nice blend of beach experience with the benefits of the local suburban community with the conveniences of grocery stores, gas, drug stores, etc. The local beaches are nice, Playa Luquillo and Playa Azul, have different feel, good beach experiences for north shore Atlantic Ocean side. Lovely, friendly, informal beach town. We really liked it. All very walkable. Our favorite breakfast place was Coffee Therapy. Good coffee, good breakfast and very nice staff. La Fonda is a very good restaurant.

We love Luquillo!
We love Luquillo! It is the best town and such an easy drive to Luquillo beach (and kiosks) and the wonderful El Yunque National Rainforest. We were glad to have a car, I don't know how we would have done it otherwise.

We stayed here after hiking in El Yunque and driving elsewhere the following day. We enjoyed a little bit of time on the beach, experienced the kioskos for dinner, and that was plenty. I didn't see much else to do in Luquillo other than that.

The location & home was really nice. The staff was extremely friendly. The home is directly on the water with amazing views. Many of the homes nearby are run down & need repaired but the hostel felt safe.

I was in the handicap room which means at night you can hear the noise from the restaurant above there. The staff warned me about that ahead of time and it normally got quiet around 10:30pm so I had no issue with it. The room was huge since it was wheelchair accessible. It was a few short blocks to the town square, restaurants, few shops, etc.

The apartment is clean and comfy - the spacious balcony is the place to be.
