Providing views over Tejo River and 25 de Abril Bridge, the Pousada de Juventude de Almada is located in Almada. It offers a wide range of accommodation and a restaurant on site. This place has the most amazing view. You can see the city of Lisbon from above across the river. Really really amazing. The dorm room was good with working lockers. I would definitely stay there again.

Almada
Tejos House is situated in Almada, within 16 km of Rossio and 16 km of Dona Maria II National Theatre. I should start by saying that if you don't like funky, this isn't for you. It's the attic of the building, and at 6'4" I could only stand up straight in the center of the room. The only kitchen-related amenity is a hot pot and mugs. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was roomy (great pressure and hot water in the shower). It was also very clean. The best part of the place though was that you could walk out on the roof. There is lounge furniture and a cafe table. You have a great view of the harbor and the sunset. There are several excellent restaurants right there, but no markets and no ATM so come prepared. It is only a few steps to walk to the ferry.
Almada
Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the city, Casa René - Charming apartments is set in Almada and offers accommodation with free WiFi. Wonderful accomodation at a great location in Almada, just a 3 minutes walk from the ferry to Lisbon (10 min.). Utmost friendly and welcoming Belgian owners, who also live in the building. The studio itself was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Perfect wifi. The garden and pool are wonderful. Restaurants nearby, walking to the ferry. The ferry itself works well and is very safe, even late at night. I could also make a late check-out, which I greatly appreciated, as I flew late back home. I would love to come back here! Thanks so much Koen and Ilvy!

Almada
Set in Almada, Anthony's Place offers city views and free WiFi, 12 km from Jeronimos Monastery and 13 km from Rossio. Kumar was incredibly helpful and friendly. He helped me find things to do (since I booked last minute) and was always available to help. I rented a car, but most days I just used the ferry to cross the river and get into the city. It's a great budget option for visiting Lisbon.
I think it is worth visiting Almada, I di not have enough time to see all I wanted. 1 days stay. It is of course quite different to North side Lisbon. You really have to be prepared to walk up hill and down dale.
Almada is a very nice place to stay. It is easy to get around Almada centre and the tourist places. To get to Lisbon is quite easy too. The ferry is so convenient, cheap and not far away from where I am staying. I really enjoyed Almada.
The Cacilhas Apartments were located very close to the Tram stops, which made it easy to go to my work-related meetings, and were very close to the Ferry docks, which took me to Lisbon in 10 minutes. I had the best of both worlds. They are located in a pedestrian walk that is full of restaurants.
We stayed at Cachilas. Almada and lots of other places were in easy reach on the tram, train or boat for Lisbon. The prices for transport very reasonable and same for food. Lovely park riverside sea walks
Except for Cristo Rei, Almada was not explored. It was to accommodate 2 day trips 1) Lisbon 2) Sintra/Cascais. Meals were eaten at home or brown bag due to food allergies. The tram and bus system - within walking distance.
I booked a privilege room on 7th floor it had a coffee station which I thought was a good idea I checked in at 3pm and checked out at12 the next day nothing on that table had been changed in the complete day bad situation.Breakfast scrambled eggs and beans were cold who gave this hotel 4 stars
This was my last stay, (3 days), as I rested up in Lisbon having toured Portugal and Spain on a BMW Motorcycle for 21 days and it was a very pleasant surprise. Cosy little B&B in the Almada district across the river from central Lisbon. My host, Simon, was a wonderful gentlemen who took extra care to make one feel at home and comfortable. Great community with tons of cafes and bars in walking district and the ferry to historic Lisbon is a short walk and the only way to get to Lisbon. What fun!
Everything was 5 star and I can’t fault this beautiful place. We stayed for 2 nights but we didn’t want to leave! The facilities were premium grade from the comfy beds, luxurious towels and state of the art kitchen to the wonderful swimming pool and sun terrace. It’s immaculately clean and feels like home. Our hosts were more than helpful and I would highly recommend this as a beautiful hidden gem in Almada.
Almada
The location was perfect-out of the bustle of downtown Lisbon and just a fifteen minute ferry ride to Almada where there was everything we needed very close by. The apartment was clean and modern with nice decorative touches, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Best of all, Simao and Edgar are warm and hospitable hosts, very responsive and were a great source of information for the area.
Almada
It is reasonably close to Lisbon center: tram + ferry will take 30-60 min depending on the time of day and your luck. Alamada itself is also interesting town and one can also take a quick bus (15-30 min ride) to the ocean Very quiet, very clean. If you have 3 couples then you can rent out the whole guest house and have complete privacy!
Location , near wonderful and inexpensive restaurants(like Mirrita), ease of access to enter (with electronic keys) and to be in Lisbon by ferry (within 15 minutes or less), balcony with views, spacious rooms, the kitchen and all the appliances. And host Elsa was diligent, caring and responsive too!
The location of the hostel in terms of views over Lisbon and bridge is magnificient. Some major landmarks such as 25th April bridge, Statue of Cristo Rei, Belem Tower were visible from the room. The breakfast was very good. The ladies at the reception were also helpful. The bed was comfortable.

Almada
Location was in the centre of the main route through Almada, which gave good access to local shops. Parking can be a little tricky, but there is a paid car park close by. Flat felt you were visiting friends, suited me perfectly, and was exceptionally clean.
Almada
Mario is very kind. He gave us a lot of useful information and recommended some excellent restaurants near the apartment. We can have a amazing view of Lisbon which is on the other side of the bay.
Almada
Great location, on a street with many restaurants, just several minutes by foot to the ferry connecting Almada with Lisbon. The staff was very helpful. The apartment is large and comfortable
Almada
Nice location with many restaurants and bars in Cacilhas around the corner, but also in Almada within walking distance. With the ferry (5 min walk) it takes just 8 min to Lisboa.
Almada
Most helpful in squeezing jaguar in only available parking space. Beautiful villa converted with great taste, superb fittings and a great way to visit Lisbon from the south.
perfect location… grocery store next door, public transportation about 300 meters from hotel. Easy to get to Lisbon from Almada via public transport and ferry.
Beautiful room. Clean. Good view out the window. Very convenient. I loved catching the ferry to Lisbon.
