The apartment is very nice inside! We liked the most the living, the kitchen and the little terrace. There was also a windown seat close to the table, that was perfect to take a bit of sun. The area around the apartment is pleasant, with lots of greenery, some restaurants really close by. We recommend Apartment Acacias, and we will definitely be back.
My Navigation system didn't find the address directly, but then I used google map on my phone. Especially in the dark it was not so easy to find. First I went to the other hotel, because on this one, it says in big letters 'Restaurant and Bar' , but there is also a hotel there. It is very nicely restored, the room I had was in the newer part of the hotel, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and a fantastic view of the bay! The staff was very nice and helpful, especially in the restaurant/bar since I arrived late. I was still offered dinner (I called ahead and asked if it was possible). Had all the time to dinner and also enjoyed a delicious dessert. Unfortunately I only stayed for one night but will certainly return if possible. Had really been too short to enjoy the beach/bay. A very special place to stay with the sound of waves - close to Lisbon (not cheap, but worth it), right on the sea! Beautiful !!!
Suites accommodation where we stayed in Cascais was very good indeed, it is so central, 2 minutes from the train station & easy walking distance to shops & beaches. Kateryna the manager was exceptional in her care for us, she was professional but still friendly, she made us feel like family.
Its a lovely coastal town with lots of things to do and see. Quiet upmarket in an understated way. Lovely promenade walk and a fabulous cycle path to Guincho beach. The marina area has also been redeveloped and looks stunning. Easy to take the train to Lisbon.
We loved Cascais. Good restaurants, a huge park with chickens roaming free. Nice little artisan shops plus the usual souvenire outlets. A supermarket to purchase snacks if required. Pretty rocky coves and beaches. The bus service is excellent as our hotel was about a twenty minute walk outside of the town. A €2 ticket can be used as many times as you wish in 24 hours. Infact the public transport is so inexpensive and easy to use.
A good selection of international restaurants and a few bars, our favourite was the Crafty Cellar with lots of choice of ales. Everything you need in walking distance. Beaches along the coast very well looked after. Nice promenade to walk along. Good mix of shops as well as tourist shops.
Breakfast was absolutely great, fabulous choice of hot and cold food in a beautiful setting. Only criticism is the coffee it isn’t good. Location of the hotel was perfect, best beach & close to some great restaurants and the town. Room was also very good. Family room, could have done with a proper 2nd bed for 2nd child, otherwise lovely. Gorgeous balcony if a bit small. Rooftop bar/pool and terrace is an absolute gem, used it daily. Good shaded areas, dip in plunge size pool to cool off, lots of tables and sun beds.
Cascais
The bed was comfortable, the outdoor pool was heated (which was good because the weather was raining and 15 degrees, but we were still able to swim!), and the breakfast was probably one of the best we had on our trip (I think this was due to the fact that it was more of a 'boutique' hotel setting than a larger hotel so there were better quality items available). The staff were all very lovely and kind. The room didn't have a fridge, but they let me store my medicine in the fridge in the kitchen.
Cascais
It is the perfect location in Cascais, next to the water beside one beach, and a few steps to various other beaches. Restaurants galore right across the way. The rooms were big and comfortable (we had waterviews). The best part of the hotel is the amazing staff -- have never been treated more like a VIP! Regina, Goncalo and Paulino were extraordinary! Concierge assist and breakfast service was phenomenal. Just can't say enough about this place and our wonderful stay.
The room is spacious, and the view is amazing. The breakfast was very good and the staff are polite, welcoming, and attending. The facilities are well-kept. The hotel does not have a private beach but is within walking distance of several public beaches. The location is very calm, and relaxing and is very close to the Sintra area. You can either take an Uber(or a taxi) or a train to Lisbon. The train station is like 5 minutes away. I really enjoyed my stay there!
Everything about this place was amazing! They allowed us to check in early which was so helpful. They were all so kind and very welcoming, and the room we stayed in - wow ...breathtaking views. We ordered breakfast to the room and were able to watch the surfers with our beach facing windows wide open..really unbeatable experience. The hotel itself is such a stunning place as well and the port and snacks in the room - what a nice touch! Highly recommend this hotel.
Cascais
The gardens and pool areas are beautiful. our room was perfect for a family of 4 and the staff were great. the best bit was the beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to a picturesque pedestrian street of restaurants and live music on weekends. The food was sensational. Hire an electric scooter and zip to the main town in 2 minutes or walk in 8. Fabulous stay before a few days in Lisbon.
To me its ine of a kind hotel that leaves a memorable experience for good. I lobed the history of the fort which was converted to the hotel. The accessible room is amazing, the converted bath enabled senior mom to use it at very ease. the breakfast is amazing and the proximity to the center as well as the beach and marina is great. Staff is beyond amazing.
Cascais
This hotel is immaculate. Perfect location. We arrived by train from Lisbon and only had to take a short 5-minute walk to the hotel. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious. The staff is very welcoming and helpful with any requests. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I only wish we would have stayed longer.
Cascais
gorgeous view from the room, private balcony looking over the bay. so close to all Cascais has to offer, restaurants, (must go to Hifen, just down the street). marina complex up the road has many many cafes, easy walk along the waterfront to beachside cafes and bars.
Cascais
The family room was large and spacious and the ladies on the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. brilliant location! The little cafe across the road for breakfast was great also. attached to the hotel and you have a discounted rate for breakfast!
Everything is in accordance with 5 star hotel starting from the staff to required facilities. Nice SPA with salted water pool and underwater massage, sauna and turkish sauna. Convenient parking. Nice welcome pack - sweets, Porto wine.
lovely staff very helpful. I had read comments about the breakfast, it was basic but good. Hotel is very central, just a short walk to the beach. No views.
I would strongly recommend hotel Pastana. Clean, comfortable and the staff are welcoming..fantastic breakfast buffet.
Loved everything about the hotel and our stay.
